Stayed here for four nights on business with a colleague. The hotel has a great location with a simple walk along the river to the centre. Hotel staff were all friendly, spoke English and catered to any requirements. As well as the open air carpark, you can pay extra to use the secure underground carpark, which I did and it was perfect peace of mind. Breakfast catered for everyone, bit small to move around in self service area (in the business hours time) Reception and barstaff all great. Hotel was clean throughout. My room was my only issue. They use these little flat spare pillows, my colleague next door had the same and we both agreed they were awful compared to a standard pillow. The shower was the other annoyance, it constantly changes from hot to cold, so much so I didn't really shower, awaiting it to be acceptable and rushed in and out. Two small niggles in an otherwise perfect hotel.

The location is approximately half way from our home in England to our French home in Narbonne Plage. It’s welcomed ,clean etc and ticks all the boxes

Thought it would be a good idea to break our journey from the Lot to Calais, haven't been to Orleans for many years. Location was good but expensive for what appeared to be an old Ibis, door between bedroom and bathroom hallway had been removed at sometime with hinges still in place, balcony overlooked small part of the river but was right next to one of the main thoroughfares into and out of the town. Easy walk into the town but no public information provided in the rooms and as for a free bottle of water, 500ml at a cost of some 20p. Didn't have breakfast as 17 euros each and I think bearing in mind the cost of the hotel room the 6.50 euros for the parking should have been waived, afterall it was not secure with the gate open at all times

Still anxious about Covid. Generally very good precautions however the breakfast room became quite busy with very little adherence to social distancing or directional flow.

The person who handled our check in in the late evening was very helpful and kind. The beds could have been better they were making a lot of noise whenever we turned around and for my mother who was disabled it was too tall to climb.

I spent from July 20 until aug 1 at your hotel. Then at the Mercure Vannes from august 1 to 25. Returning to the Mercure Orléans on august 25 until September 11. More than 54 nights consecutive.. I felt I became a very well known client almost a friend.. that was superb experience

We use this hotel as a stop over to and from Beziers in the south. Generally excellent but this stay we had to pay double the price more or less, & we had a room 809 on the top floor with a broken bed & so we were moved to 811. The room was tired with a door missing. Poor for double the price.

Room was a little dated and cleanliness was not up to the standard expected. Pool and the surrounding area also requires refurbishment and cleaning. Couldn’t really enjoy our parking lot view as the windows were so dirty.

we checkout at night, checkout process was fast, key's ready, family of 4, 2 small kids, 2 connecting rooms, after a long drive, finding out there are no HOT WATER to take a shower, when i contact the front desk, I've been told that there is a problem, and they are working on it. at no choice, took a clod water shower. wake up in the morning, no HOT water, call front desk (11AM), told the issue has just been fixed, but will take more time to have hot water.....very disappointing

Privilège room, huge bathroom, great view over the river. Very clean, COVID measures taken seriously. Nice pool and bar. Did not have breakfast because the hotel is ideally situated within a 10 mins walk to the cafes of the centre of town.

Everything is fine except the room was hot. Air conditioning only works in the summer apparently and in the winter the system only provides various degrees of heat. In theory one can reduce to 16c but it does not. As a result the room gets stuffy and hot. One can open a window but like all Mercure/Novotels the hotel is near a main road and one gets traffic noise. so we we torn between the devil and the deep blue sea-either hot and stuffy or nicely fresh listening to the traffic. It is a common problem in a lot of Accor hotels where the "air-con" is a central system which can only do either hot or cold not both! I just wish Accor would point this out before rooms are stated as having air conditioning. One can find a Mercure/novotel further away from the road where one can open the windows, e.g. Novotel Le Lac at Limoges or the other Mercure by the golf course in Orleans. We cannot fault the service and staff and the food was at the top end of Mercure's offerings. It was all very clean and complying fully with COVID regulations. If the room had not been so hot we would have given it 4/5 stars. I am a regular Accor client so I should have remembered. It is annoying though they do not warn you upfront.

Breakfast not worth the money. I realise that times have been pretty bad but the charge for a non buffet breakfast is not worth the cost. 15 euros each for 2 bread rolls 2 coffees and two juices is a rip off.

Nice hotel with a great location. Walking distance from downtown and close to my office. Lovely staff. Only a darkest point, the burger had a burnt bun and crude meat in the middle. I will book it again!
