Staff was great, good service. Housekeeping did great keeping an aging hotel clean, which is not easy so compliments to that team. Reception was very nice and accommodating. Pool was great with high temperatures this summer. But owners are behind, rooms, corridors, elevators are too far along and too old. Tv should be mounted, no power next to the bed to charge a phone, popcorn walls are very 80’s. Thankfully the staff, pool, breakfast and parking made up for it, so overall we enjoyed, but how great could it be with some investments, as the hard part was already great (the staff). Well located hotel provides easy access to this beautiful city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the terrace and pool area an added bonus. We chose not to eat at the hotel, preferring to eat in the range of restaurants in the city - but the hotel menu itself looked good with a nice range of choice.

Nice stay, extremely busy due to many 'passage' tourists. Breakfast was not good, as the staff couldn't cope with the flow and fill up adequately. We got a non-renovated room, clean but clearly out of date. Try to take the renovated rooms as in the app. The hotel is nicely renovated (reception and restaurant).

The reception area promised a lot. The room not so. It had a damaged/stained carpet, a broken mirror, the fridge didn't work, the room decoration was a bit shabby and the room was not very clean. Having said that, it is in a great location and the staff were helpful.

We had a room with two double beds. The air conditioning did not work. The light on the mirror in the bathroom was broken. There was chewing gum on the bathroom floor. The drain for the sink in the bathroom was not adjust right so that you had to remove the stopper to drain the water.

Zero aircon in 45 degrees does not equate to a 30% reduction. I had to get my own extension lead, so the supplied fan would actually reach me. Cleaner clearly didnt check bath, as water in bottom still there in the evening. I had to ask reception to find a barman, and even then that still took 5 minutes. Your scrambled egg needs looking at, its a wet mess, I went without breakfast rest of the week. Unfortunately I have to stay there again inJuly, my room better have aircon on that visit.
