Hotel is in good location. Restaurant is very good. Staff is very friendly. However, rooms really need some renovation. Hair drier in bathroom is not good at all.

I came in for a one-night business trip and wanted to order room service. Unfortunately, the phone in my room wasn't working, and I was told it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. I had to go downstairs to order food at 6:30 PM, but the restaurant didn't open until 7 PM. By 7:30 PM I had to go down again as my soup was not delivered, in the end it arrived cold at 7:50 PM with a raw egg. I was informed that this was the standard way to serve it. I am sure if the soup was actually hot the egg would have been cooked. Overall, the service was disappointing and didn't meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. However, the hotel itself was clean and pretty.

This hotel is a little tired and could use some investment and tlc. The staffing however was outstanding, nothing however big or small, was too much for the staff here from front desk to bar to housekeeping everything that could be done to make our stay simpler or more enjoyable was. This despite a 2 year old who had contracted a stomach bug and didn't always make it to the bathroom. Even this only elicited reassurance, a smile and assistance freely given. In 40 years staying in hotels I think this qualifies as the best standard of staffing that I have encountered.

In my opinion, the location, the parking (although uncovered), a very nice staff, a good-looking lobby and a nice over-priced restaurant were the positive aspects. The building is in dire need of a new exterior painting. The room, although clean, had outdated 50s/60s furniture that shows signs of decay and lacks maintenance. There was not enough space to keep our clothes, especially for someone that is taking a long trip. The bathroom with a rusted door that needed replacement had no amenities at all, not even a shower cap and had cheap paper cups instead of glass ones. All in all, that is not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel.
