The hotel was a little cramped, but it was a functional space with good amenities. The third bed was not made, which is apparently their policy. I would have preferred not to have made my own bed in a hotel. This hotel has a card about an environment policy in the bathroom- where towels are not replaced if they are not placed in the shower. Our towels were replaced even though we had them hanging up, which was disappointing. What is the point of an environmental policy that is ignored/not implemented. Overall however, we were happy with our stay.

Great interaction et good quality of service. The quality of the food in the restaurant could be improved (for the price). The cleanliness of the room could be improved too. The noise is a problem: during the night, the noise outside the room is disturbing

We’ve stayed in this Ibis Budget hotel several times and will continue to do so. It is located near the tram line which runs very regularly. The rooms are basic but provide all the essentials for your stay. The beds are comfortable, there is good heating/air conditioning, rooms are cleaned daily, and shower gel & towels are provided. Staff at reception are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is joined on to the Ibis Hotel and facilities there are at your disposal e.g buffet breakfast, bar, lounge

This budget hotel provides me with what I need - a clean bedroom, comfortable bed, bathroom and breakfast. I’ve stayed there before. However, this year I was a little disappointed. The bathroom door would not stay closed and blocked the entrance hall when entering. I struggled to get my suitcase in. The key card had to be recalibrated twice because it would not unlock the door. Budget should not mean sub-standard, IBIS has a reputation to maintain.

I very much recommend this hotel. The staff are helpful, friendly and it is easy to talk to them. They are a wonderful team and please tell them this! They are very accommodating for any requests that you have. I will very happily stay here again if I have the possibility and I will recommend it as well to any friends who go to Montpellier. I only have good feedback about my stay.

The room didn't have furniture. I had to put my clothes on the top of the other bed. The toilet didn't have toilet brush either, which is very frustrating as it became dirty and I din't know how to clean it. But the worst thing is when I asked for an invoice, and the woman in the reception gave me a "Duplicata Note". I asked her for a true invoice, as only this way my university can reimburse me the cost of my stay in the hotel. I insisted her in giving me an invoice, and she said that this was a true invoice, the one that they always give to the customers. I asked her to sign it, but she didn't want to sign it. She said: why I have to sign? This is what we always give to the customers! A few days later, I asked a man on the reception for an invoice with my address corrected, and he gave me a document in which the word "Facture" was clearly indicated. My question is: why they gave me at the beginning a "Duplicata note", and then they gave me a "Factura"? If "Duplicata note" were a true invoice, why to use two different words for the same thing: "Duplicata note" and "Factura"? What is the difference between "Duplicata note" and "factura"? Please, if a customer askes for a true invoice, give him/her a "factura", and don't waste our time with lies. You should know that many customers (I am one of them) choose your hotel as we have problems in other hotels to get a real invoice. If you put problems with invoices, we won't go again to your hotel.

A hotel with failures

The Ibis Budget shares a building with an Ibis Hotel. It is the same reception staff who deal with both hotels. They are very good and explained everything well. The only negative thing about the hotel was the breakfast room and breakfast. The room was tiny and very limited food compared to the Ibis Budget I stayed in Nice. Also the aircon could not be switched off and no temperature settings. As the weather was very hot outside, we put up with the cold conditions. The Hotel is by line 4 on the Tram system, which seems to go around Montpellier and makes it easy to reach.

i enjoyed my stay, however there was a lot of noise from the rooms above 119. i am not sure if they are sleeping rooms or workshops because a lot of noise was coming from that side. Sleeping was difficult at times. stuff was great. on the menu please also include English for the benefits of the other non french speaking people.

Basic. Simple. Clean bedding/towels. Needs attention to cleaning.

Woken very early with somebody playing 'drums' on piping - maybe radiator? Shower, glass screen, allowing water to pour onto the floor. Room cleanliness needs attention.

Nice hotel, stylish room design and great location, next to Mediatheque Garcia Lorca and a block away from the tram stop. The buffet breakfast was really good. The staff is friendly and cordial. The bed was comfortable indeed! I'd need to point out that the step between the shower and the bathroom floor is too big. The heating was a bit too intense. And there were a few spiders and a green bug visiting me. The elevators were frequently out of service.
