I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Before my arrival, the hotel called because my train was delayed, even though my room had already been prepaid. I never really understood the purpose of the call. The first room I was given was an accessible room on the ground floor overlooking the parking lot. The view was depressing, but the worst part was the overwhelming smell of cleaning chemicals. Thankfully, the staff agreed to move me to another room. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve much. The corridor on the upper floor had a strong smell of dampness mixed with what genuinely reminded me of cat urine. The carpet looked old and smelled so unpleasant that I didn’t even want to walk on it barefoot. I even kept my flip-flops on in the shower. The room itself was acceptable, but the hotel feels very dated and poorly designed. The air conditioning vent is positioned right next to the desk, and when you close the curtains, they partially block the airflow. It’s a strange design that makes the room less comfortable. Breakfast was another major disappointment. The selection felt very low quality, with mostly cheap industrial products and very little that seemed fresh. It was far below what I expected. Overall, I found the hotel outdated, poorly maintained, and unpleasant. I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend it.

I arrived at the hotel around 10pm, I was given my room, shortly after I realized that the room was full of ants (I have photos), went to reception, I had to be relocated, this took some time, I finally got to my room around 11pm.

We really liked the hotel and its service, all very good. (Well, the hotel floors smell quite bad.) But when we went out with our dog after a long journey we found the surroundings to be scary. Dirty and poor. And the entry to the reception is not well indicated, we passed by and did not see it because the restaurants name is predominant.

Great place to overnight, it would have been great if it were more clearly communicated the restaurant was closed. The restaurant is another reason why we chose this Ibis but apparently it's closed on Sundays and Mondays.
