Dear Mr. Thien Van Nguyen, Hello, good day. I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at Hotel F1 Crosne in Paris. Overall, my stay at the hotel was good — the cleanliness and general experience were satisfying, and I truly appreciated the comfortable environment. I will also complete the survey at a feasible time as requested. However, I regret to inform you about an unpleasant incident that occurred during my checkout. After checking out, I placed my bags near the outdoor sitting area of the hotel as I had a few hours before my flight. I bought a coffee from the vending machine and sat peacefully outside, waiting for my Uber. When my Uber driver arrived, he seemed slightly confused about the exact pickup point, so I stood up and walked just a few meters away (around 2–3 meters) from my luggage to look for him. While I was still very close to my belongings, a tall Black man from the reception suddenly came outside and shouted at me very aggressively, saying something in French that I did not understand. From his tone and gestures, he seemed to be telling me to take my bags away from the property and to leave immediately. As a tourist, I was shocked and deeply humiliated by this behavior. I was neither far from my luggage nor causing any disturbance. I strongly believe that English should be used for communication with guests, especially in a city like Paris which welcomes millions of international visitors every year. I want to emphasize that my concern is not about money or hotel category, but about respect and proper guest treatment. Every guest, regardless of the hotel’s star rating, deserves to be treated with dignity. There were two Black gentlemen at the hotel — I am not referring to the one who cleans or shows rooms; that person was very kind and respectful, even though he didn’t speak much English. The staff member who shouted was taller and appeared to be stationed at the reception. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that you will look into the matter and take appropriate action to ensure that no guest faces such an unpleasant experience in the future.
