Friendly helpful staff, room not clean

If the room would have been clean, overall experience would have been an 8. Staff was very friendly. The room however had a backlog in cleaning. Surface was ok, but many items had old dirty spots, ie nightstand, toilet, backlash of the bed, corners of the room. Looks like the cleaning staff does not have enough time to maintain overall cleanness of the room. As we were with a party of 5, we booked 2 rooms, and the other room also lacked maintenance it seems. A clean room is the #1 important item for guests.
