A convenient stop

We used this hotel due to its location along the route of our journey. It is a well positioned stop and we have stayed before. The hotel is clean and the night porter was welcoming and managed to adjust the rooms we had been allocated so we could be close together (we had booked two rooms for our family). It was disappointing that despite having booked for Bed and Breakfast, assuming that this would cover everyone in our group (2 adults and 3 children), we still had to pay for 2 further breakfasts in the morning (our toddler was free). This feels like an unfair additional charge that should have been included in the up front cost.

No coat racks in the room and the towel rack in the bathroom (cabrio room) hung half out of the wall. The breakfast was very limited and we had to wait for bread

This F1 hotel has recently been refurbished. It was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful, especially as we didn't arrive until midnight. Straight from a hectic drive and ferry crossing it provided a good night's sleep.
