The hotel is well located and close to bus stops and tram and metro stations. The staff are nice and helpful. The room is spacious and clean enough for a short stay. It has all basic facilities and that's a good point. However, it's sad to see that the snacks/drinks machines do not have the card payment option. Travellers may not always have cash on them. Also, the toilets and showers could be improved for more comfort. Finally, the housekeepers should not knock on the door three to four times before the check-out time. It disturbs people. The reason given was: we have to finish early because of eid. We understand but we can choose to stay until check-out time. The housekeepers should not disturb us to ask us this kind of favour. This is a lack of professionalism.

Good location. Satisfactory room although string cigarette smell. Friendly staff. Very basic breakfast, no tea. Room located next to reception was very noisy so poor sleep. Happy to have parking

Wicked, Untruthful and Indifferent Receptionist and Security Man. Had the Most Awful and Most Terrible Experience of My Life statying in Your Hotel.

Overall Experience? Most terrible ever. On the 22nd of October 2021, I was referred to Ibis hotel at Stains La Cerisaie, by someone who had interacted with the hotel, she gave me the phone number to call. Around few minutes to 18:00 on 22nd October 2021, I called the line and a female receptionist picked it. She told me the rooms at Ibis hotel in Stains were fully booked. She then asked if she could book a room for me at “our other hotel” she said. Since she said at their other hotel, I agreed thinking that the company manages different hotels. So, she requested for my card details which I gave to her and she booked a room for me for one night at Hotel F1 Saint-Denis centre. I told her that I would like to reserve accommodation for one night in the first place, and if I am able to extend my return ticket date, I will add three days. She told me there is no problem, and that I should tell the receptionist at the hotel when I arrive there. Initially I did not receive the confirmation of the reservation in my email. I called severally but got no response until I was on my way to Paris, and I had to call the phone number again. Later, a different receptionist picked the call and sent to my email the confirmation of the booking. When I got to the hotel (F1), at the point of checking in, I told the male receptionist that I want to stay for additional 3 days. So, he wrote on a small piece of paper the total amount that I would pay for the four nights but gave me the acknowledgement of payment for the first night that I already booked before leaving my base and promised to give me the facture for the payment of the other three days in the following morning. In the morning following my arrival, 23 October 2021, I rushed out to the venue of my programme because I was getting late, with the intention that when I returned to the hotel, I would ask for the facture. From the programme, I went for shopping and returned to the hotel very fatigued. I got to the room but couldn’t gain access. I returned to the reception to inform them, but I was shocked when the guy brought out my suitcase and told me to leave. I asked why? He said I booked for only one night and the room has been given to another person. I told him to give me another room, but the receptionist kept telling me to hold on. I told him to call the Security Man who was on duty on the night that I checked in so I can talk to him, and he would explain to the receptionist, the security man came only to deny that I informed them that I wanted the room for additional three days. They kept me waiting there from around 20:00. I made efforts to look for another hotel around, but all rooms were fully booked. I did not know where to go at that time of the night. It was then getting to 23:00 and I was still asking them to give me another room since they have my card details through which they received the payment for the first night. I called the Ibis hotel line through which I was directed to the F1 hotel. The first person who picked my call shouted at me on the phone “Madam, hotel, is closed; hotel closed, closed” and he dropped the call. I called again selecting another option, the second person that responded from Ibis hotel told me to hang on the call while she found out something but she never return to the call, she just left me there. I also selected the option to speak with the reception but there was never a response. When the receptionist who attended to me the night that I arrived came, I called his attention to the fact that I requested four nights reservation and he gave me a note containing the total cost. I was dazed as he responded by whistling, shouting, and pointing to the outside that I should get out. I meant that he whistled and shouted “get out, shut up, to me severally. Then they invited the police. The policemen did not hear a word from me, one of them just carried my bags and dropped them outside the hotel, that was close to midnight. I went from one hotel to another but either they were closed for the day, or they were fully booked. I was stranded and on my feet moving within, between and around stains and Paris looking for accommodation throughout the night and until daybreak. I got a place only after 12:00 today 24 October 2021. It was at this point that I noticed that the TSA padlock that I used to lock my suitcase had been neatly opened and removed. This was the most horrible and most terrible experience that I have ever had, and I will not recommend such a place with rude, untruthful, and callous receptionists and so called security man, to even my worst enemy.

We are Australian and due to Covid 19 our Government won’t permit us to travel overseas, our borders won’t open for many months. We have asked for a refund but been declined Issued with a credit instead. We have used these Hotels for years but will think twice about using them if and when travel resumes. We’ll go with Airbnb that gave us immediate refunds on that same trip.
