We came to Novotel 1st July and left 4th July morning. 1st day we said room 211 air-condition doesn't work, 1st day and 2nd day they didn't fix it. Until 3rd July I was complaining 6 times and finally last night evening they changed our room. First 2 night it was too hot inside the room it was difficult to sleep so we opened our window and all the mosquito came inside and bites us. With 2 children it was one of the worst experiences in my life. Such a hotel like this its really shame when people doesn't care.

So firstly, the hotel itself is directly by a Tram line and right in front of the Metro. So it’s really accessible. It’s not as scary as some of the reviews say, but there are lots of people in front of the hotel selling cigarettes etc, but they keep to themselves, and we never felt threatened. That being said, the front of the hotel had smashed glass on the revolving door that’s been left unrepaired. And the entrance was also broken. The staff are courteous and polite. They did action our request for an iron quickly and also sent an engineer when we flagged an issue with the air conditioning. Which leads us to the main problems. The facilities. First. The air conditioning was shocking. In 30°c heat, we might as well have had the heater on. It was like sleeping in a Sauna. The Engineer came, rattled about a bit, then said he’d fixed it and that it would eventually cool. 3 days later it never did. It was suggested we just keep the curtains closed to keep the room cool during the day. There was no iron in the room, we requested one and they only had one available and it was broken. The pillows were so bad, like they’ve been around since before the millennium. We had booked a room for three people. Apparently one bottle of water was all we were allowed. And even that was for only for one day of the 3 day stay. The ‘gym’ also had no cooling, but the multi gym was broken with snapped cables. So essentially pointless. As a regular user of Accor hotels, you expect a certain standard, especially at those price points. I didn’t even bother claiming my welcome drink or late check out, as the hotel didn’t give me any confidence. If you need something for an overnight visiting than the Stade de France, then this place is ok. Otherwise, don’t bother, which is a shame as the staff are nice.

To get the negative out of the way first because they all were minor issues: Tv is weirdly positioned (not centered on bed) and weirdly slow to change channels, shower pressure is a bit low, it takes time to get hot water. The neighborhood was a bit noisy during the night. The good: The hotel is well located, room was clean and I slept well, staff were helpful and very friendly. Bed, room service and bar were all good to my taste. Did not try breakfast. I had a good time there. It's a good Novotel with good people working there.

It need to renew the all furniture and breakfast need more cheese
