Well located for Nice Ville station and close to shops and restaurants. The public areas are smart, clean and modern. Staff are welcoming, especially the bar and breakfast staff. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of food and was well stocked. My room was adequate for the 4 day stay. However the room space may be small for a couple with luggage. Blackout curtains were excellent. My room was serviced daily by the excellent housekeeping staff. A small negative point was that the past room redecoration on the 8th floor looked like it was rushed with paint left on bathroom items, and a loose shower tray fixing. Also one bedside electrical socket was loose and had partially exposed cables. (I only noticed this at end of my stay and had no issues. Made reception aware.) Maybe managers should make random periodic room checks to ensure rooms are in a good state of repair and act on any findings.

I am used to going there with my partner. The lady at the breakfast is absolutely lovely, the gentlemen who is usualy there at the bar is also great. However, I have had such a bad experience yesterday that I must complain. It was borderline traumatic. I went to watch football and ordered champagne. I did absolutely nothing wrong . The barman was highly incompetent and impolite to the point of refusing to serve me deliberately. He started being insulting and I reacted stating that he was completely incompetent and that the bar closed at midnight. I was judged for my values and one friendly conversation that I had with people sitting next to me. It was franckly awfull and uncalled-for, humiliating ., I have never seen even the worse client being treated in such way anywhere !

Stay was just okay - beds are very narrow and the memory foam layer slips in the night - that’s poor. Should have been communicated in advance the pool was unavailable. Bit of a sewerage smell on the ground floor which is attempted to be masked by air freshener type plug ins… The name of the hotel is too similar to the IBIS styles brand which is very confusing when booking. On a positive note the location is very good for the main train station and very central town access. The breakfast is also excellent - lovely fresh varied food and the staff were very pleasant. Check in was great quick and easy.

Hotel is located next to the train station allowing easy visits to places along the Cote D’Azure. Wonderful staff who can’t help enough. Only issue is the size of the bathroom which was tiny.
