We booked the room for 6 nights. (28/11/25 to 3/12/25). We were given Rm 206 upon checking in. This room has a foul smell. My wife was not feeling well and the front office staff helped and called for a doctor on the 29/11. As my wife needed rest on 29/11 and 30/11, the constant drilling and knocking sound from renovation works above our unit was very bad. We eventually got the room changed to Room 218 only for the last 2 nights. At least this room does not have foul smell. We are very dissatisfied with the overall stay at Mercure Nice Hotel!!

check in staff on 2nd nov 2025 was extremely rude, despite us stating we were accor guests. they were snobbish and treated us poorly. she highlighted that we booked our trip via a third party agent. we been to other accor hotels around the world previously. this was the worst encounter for check in. the check out staff on 4th nov 2025 who attended us was really nice and helped us with the booking of a airport transfer as it was early morning 5am. there was no mini bar that was on the house, it was just one coffee capsule and two tea sachets.
