The previous reviews berated the hotel for looking tired but this is, now, not so . The whole building has been updated and , whilst you can always find something to criticise if you look hard enough, the overall impression is one of a clean well run hotel. I found it pleasant to stay, very, very clean , and comfortable enough for my needs. The location is superb with good views from my room. The breakfasts. Whilst offering good room service, could have been a little more varied. I do understand that it needs to be more limited than a buffet style but even a choice of yoghurt would have been good. Most of the staff were charming, always acknowledging your arrival and departure but there is always one who has had a bad day! All in all it’s good value for money and that’s all I require.

The staff at the hotel provide a polite and courteous service Room standards need to be improved. My room (328) has skirting that needed refixing and redecorating. Not all the English speaking channels were available - romm 328 had them, 354 didn't. This was not fixed during our stay. No complimentary water provided in 328 and/or no water bottle provided to make use of the free water from the machine in the corridor I pointed out that the tsuck on floor tiles in the breakfast room present a trip hazard.
