The hotel is in a great location. The front desk check-in staff was not welcoming. I felt more of a bother than a guest. The hotel was tired and in need of a refresh. The rooms remind me of a college dorm room. I’m ok with small but nothing in the room was upscale. The bathroom was the worst part. Why get rid of the mold when you can just caulk over it. None of the typical amenities you would expect in a 4 star hotel. No moisturizer, q-tips, make up remover, sewing kit, shower cap, etc. Literally nothing. The toilet was old and cracked. Cleanliness was an issue as well. The cloth chairs in the breakfast area are filthy. I’ve never seen anything so dirty. In need of hand held steamer and replacement. I would not recommend or ever stay here again.

On arrival the hotel felt well polished, very Christmassy decorated. Staff on reception were exceptional, very friendly, well presented and professional. Explained with a map the whereabouts of all the Christmas markets and when, where and how to catch the trams. Panoramic lift was a fabulous touch. Our room was accessible and was excellent.
