I stayed at Mercure Paris Opéra for about five days. The location is excellent—very close to the метро and a major station, and within easy walking distance to big shopping areas like Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. The neighborhood is also lively and convenient, with plenty of restaurants and cafés right in front of the hotel. However, my room felt quite small, even after an upgrade. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, like damp carpet that hadn’t dried properly. On one day, when I returned to the room, it looked like my folded laundry had been bumped during housekeeping and it wasn’t neatly put back, which was disappointing. That said, there were several strong positives. The staff were genuinely kind and friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent. Even though my room faced the street, outside noise was not an issue at all. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for a short business trip or a quick stay because of the location, staff, and quiet rooms. For a family stay, it may not be ideal unless you book a larger room, as the space is limited.

I spent only 2 nights for business trip, well located, a bit expensive however and had no breakfast included
