We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our central location in Paris and hope that it allowed you to make the most of your visit. We are also pleased to read that you appreciated the cleanliness of our hotel. We are, however, sincerely sorry to learn that accessing your room was inconvenient. As our hotel is located in a traditional Haussmann-style building, some specificities in the way it is built may not suit every guest, and we are very sorry that it affected your stay and comfort. We have noted your preference in your ACCOR guest profile so that, whenever possible, we can assign you a room that is accessible only by lift during a future stay. Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry that the air conditioning did not fully meet your expectations during your stay. The recent heatwave brought exceptionally high outdoor temperatures of nearly 40°C. Even under these extreme conditions, our air conditioning system maintained your room at approximately 24°C, which reflects its proper operation and a significant temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. While we understand that this may not have provided the level of cooling you were hoping for, it was unfortunately not possible to achieve a much lower room temperature without exceeding the system's normal operating limits. We sincerely regret any impact this may have had on your comfort. We are also sorry to hear that the in-room minibar did not meet your expectations. Our drawer-style minibar is designed to keep drinks refreshed at around 12°C rather than function as a refrigerator. That said, we completely understand your point, and we will share your comments with our management team to consider whether a refrigerator could be a suitable option for future improvements. We are especially pleased to know that some members of our front desk team made a positive impression with their kindness and helpfulness. Your compliments will certainly be shared with them. During your stay, France experienced an exceptional heatwave. In Paris, outdoor temperatures reached nearly 40°C (104°F) for several consecutive days, placing all air conditioning systems under exceptional strain. Under these circumstances, industry standards indicate that air conditioning systems are designed to maintain a reasonable temperature difference between the outdoor and indoor environments, ensuring both guest comfort and the proper operation of the equipment. Despite outdoor temperatures approaching 40°C, our system maintained a room temperature of approximately 24°C (75°F), representing a temperature difference of around 16°C (29°F). This level of performance, which exceeds the temperature differential typically expected from air conditioning systems, demonstrates that our equipment was operating properly despite these exceptional weather conditions. For these technical reasons, it was not possible to achieve a room temperature of 19°C (66°F) during this heatwave without operating the system beyond its normal design limits. We fully understand that the heat may have affected your comfort, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Your feedback is valuable and helps us continuously improve the experience we provide to our guests. For your next stay, we invite you to book a Privilege room or Privilege suite, more spacious, endowed with a bedding upscale Mercure, and of various services like a Nespresso machine, a free minibar as well, cosmetics, a bathrobe and slippers.
