Coordination with the cruise company was excellent. Transportation was available and on time when it should have been. The bar was very nice. Quiet. Good service. Hotel is close to lots of good little cafes and shops. Only neg was that our tub did not have any grab bars for entering and exiting the shower. We would have preferred a room with that amenity.

Your hotel is very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and some food and drinks in your lounge. The only problem was that we asked for two twin beds and were given a room with one bed - and it wasn’t a king. Then we got a room with a king but not separated. Finally two of your staff came to separate the beds. However, everyone was very polite and accommodating while we were there.

Well located for shopping, close to public transportation and next to hop on hop off tour. But service was variable. My room was not cleaned until 3 or 4 pm on the first 3 days of my stay and I interrupted the first time so she had to hurriedly finish, forgetting to leave soap. To me it seems that the hotel does not employ enough cleaning people and not the fault of the individual worker, who really tried to be very helpful. I found the service on the first floor restaurant to be just ok and was upset that I could not have a visitor join me to eat some famous macarons we purchased in the common area. I found this to be the most disappointing and would expect more for a stay that is over 1000 euros a night. Breakfast service was great and I would like to highlight Anna, who always tried to give us a personalized experience and prompt service from day 1. Also the gym was terrible, equipment is not maintained at all and the stationary bike broke. There is also no TV. Overall, I would say it was a good but not exceptional stay--I would expect more given the cost.

While I am pleased that you enjoyed our location and some aspects of your experience, I am sorry to read that the overall level of service did not consistently meet your expectations. Regarding the servicing of your room, our daily housekeeping service takes place between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm. It was therefore possible that your room had not yet been serviced by 3:00 pm. Nevertheless, we completely understand that you would prefer your room to be attended to earlier in the day, and we have taken note of this preference for your future stays with us. I am also sorry for the inconvenience caused by the missing bathroom amenities, as well as for your experience in our restaurant and the situation regarding your visitor. Your comments have been shared with the relevant teams. I equally regret your experience in our fitness room. The condition of the equipment you describe, particularly the stationary bike, is not the experience we wish to provide, and we are following up on this point with our technical team. On a more positive note, thank you for highlighting Anna and the personalized attention she provided throughout your breakfasts. I will be very pleased to share your kind words with her. Was looking for a few days in good location to branch out and explore Paris. Le Scribe was perfect choice for easy walking expeditions to Montmartre district, Saint-Germain, the shops of Saint-Honore, Champs Elysee, Ile de la Cite, the Tuileries and much more. Wonderful quality hotel, great rooms (was offered wonderful upgrade), breakfast onsite, very comfortable and cosy bar. Check in and check out was great. But having a suite and being told the hotel restaurant was full, left a less than great experience. No butler service with an expensive suite. Maître d’hôtel at the restaurant should be changed.

Thank you as well for highlighting the excellent service you received from our Door team. I will be happy to share your kind words with all of them. I am, however, sorry for the disappointment you experienced with our restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked on the evening you wished to dine with us, and we were therefore unable to accommodate you at that time. We would, however, have been delighted to welcome you on another evening during your four-night stay. Alternatively, our Room Service menu was also available should you have wished to dine in the comfort of your suite. Regarding your comment about Butler service, Le Scribe does not offer a dedicated Butler service with our suites. Our guests are instead accompanied by our Concierge and Guest Relations teams, who are available throughout the stay to assist with individual requests, arrangements and recommendations. I have also taken note of your comments regarding the breakfast experience, Room Service, Wi-Fi connection and the espresso cups left in your room after servicing. The latter in particular should not have occurred, and I apologize for this oversight. I am sorry that some aspects of your stay left you with a less positive impression of Le Scribe, and I hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with a more seamless experience. I had a very pleasant stay at Le Scribe Paris Opéra. The hotel is very well located, and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Everything was nicely arranged, and the service was good and attentive throughout my stay. As I had an early train, I needed to leave the hotel at around 5:40am. The staff kindly offered to prepare a packed breakfast for me, which I really appreciated. However, I was a little disappointed when I finally had a chance to open the breakfast box on the train. It contained a cold, rather hard sandwich, a juice and a small apple. I appreciate that it was an early departure and that the hotel was trying to accommodate me, but the sandwich was unfortunately not particularly appetising. Perhaps a few pastries or croissants plus a fruit cup would be a more suitable and appealing option for an early breakfast. A bottle of water would also have been more useful, either in addition to or instead of the juice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return. The location, comfortable room and good service made for a pleasant experience. I hope the hotel might consider reviewing the contents of its early breakfast boxes, as this would be a small but worthwhile improvement.

Nevertheless, your comments regarding the selection and presentation are very valuable, and we will certainly take them into consideration as we review this offering. Regarding bottled water in the room, as part of our efforts to reduce single-use packaging, our rooms are equipped with a Culligan filtered water system, allowing our guests to enjoy fresh filtered water directly from their room. From start to finish our experience at this hotel was 5 star plus. A special accommodation for Toufant, the doorman. He was very helpful and friendly. Another accommodation for Anna Marie, breakfast buffet server. She was efficient and friendly. These two valuable employees made our stay memorable.
