The Sofitel we stayed in Amsterdam was great! This Sofitel was different! 1. bed was higher in middle than sides. felt like you would roll off bed. 2. instant tea and cup was provided first night but, no way to heat water. notified front desk but, never got more tea or a way to heat water?? 3. No night light in bathroom. 4. Dangerous getting in and out of tub. A grip handle is provided to help stand up in tub but one is needed to climb in and out of tub!!!! No bath mat to keep from slipping in tub. The staff at reception was great. Had one steak dinner that was excellent. The location was great!

We had another lovely stay at the Sofitel Paris le Faubourg. There was a problem with the hair salon booking as the salon is no longer on the property. Both the concierge and the salon owner handled the issue well: however, this sort of snafu should not happen at the Sofitel and I should have been contacted in advance. I was very happy with how it was handled though and appreciated the service and concern.

Stayed for 3 nights for my wife's Birthday. Hotel is ideally located and quiet due to the security around the nearby American Embassy. Staff were very helpful and there is a nice bar. The room was well appointed and maintained. Aircon could ideally have been more responsive, but that's a minor quibble.

Overall, I had a really great experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help whenever I needed anything. They genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything was in order, and I really appreciated that throughout my stay. A special shoutout to the breakfast team as well. They were always so friendly and attentive, and made sure I had a great start to the day with a delicious breakfast and excellent service. It was definitely one of the highlights of my stay!

Luxury to me is about effortless comfort, attention to details and that the team remembers your details to personalise your stay and I must say, the team at Sofitel delivered just that. As usual we got an excellent stay but unfortunately we need to report a lack into attention and care from the house keeping and food. This is not the first time ! Despite we still love this Hotel and his excellent staff, we noticed a certain kind of "cost saving approach" that from a such kind of facility it is not acceptable. More attention from management over house-keeping and food quality it is our warm suggestion.

We are returning customers. The hotel continues to appeal for its amazing location and its general ambiance, including the adjoining bar. The bathroom really needs an upgrade, it is not up to standards of a 5-star hotel, even in Paris.

Jerome, at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. Our lovely room was actually 2 floors, with a small sitting room downstairs, and the bedroom, large bathroom, desk and walk in closet upstairs. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked so well that I actually got cold in the night. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of options, although the tables were quite close together and it felt a bit crowded. We enjoyed the bar for both cocktails and a light dinner. Their croque monsieur was delicious! The hotel is located in a very convenient location, right off La Place de la Concorde, so you can easily walk to the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, Notre Dame, lots of shops and restaurants, and most anywhere you want to go. Also, there’s a Metro entrance right around the corner. Although the hallways in the hotel were a little tired, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Paris.
