Room and bathroom were very clean and we appreciated the kettle, tea and coffee present in the room. We enjoyed our stay but the first night someone was (mistakenly, and probably not on purpose) trying to open our door at 3am... which was very strange. Other than that we will go back when in Paris!

The hotel location is good. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was a bit small but clean. I guess it is the standard in Paris. Breakfast was good but could be improved in term of quality and variety.

Having stayed in and been impressed by a Mercure Hotel in Berlin recently, we booked Mercure Pigalle for our latest trip to Paris. We love Pigalle as a neighbourhood and the hotel is superbly located on Place Pigalle, next to Pigalle Metro station a short walk from Blanche. It's also a pleasant 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord if travelling by Eurostar as we were. Welcome at reception was a little perfunctory but we were quickly checked in. NB: online check-in had wanted to take a pre-authorisation for incidentals of over €300 which I objected to so we checked in at the hotel and the charge was only €1! The Privilege room had, as promised, a *superb* view of Sacre-Coeur, from two balconies which would have been just about big enough to sit out on had weather permitted. The room was very small but very comfortable, with movable furniture (a fold-down table, a chair and a stool) meaning we could use the room just as easily for dining as for lounging. So, despite the room's small size it was very flexible. Two things could improve the room: more hooks and drawers for storage (or just twice as many coathangers!) as there was nowhere to hang coats or store smaller items; and a shower screen/door which fully encloses the shower stall, as the rainfall shower, while very pleasant, was constantly getting the bathroom floor wet. As well as the view and general comfort of the room and the hotel's excellent location, we also very much appreciated the generous selection of complimentary soft drinks provided, the tea and coffee making facilities (kettle, Nespresso machine and selected teas and capsules) and the delightful Nuxe honey-based bathroom products. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation!

The hotel was cleaned and most of the employees were polite and professional. The check out was a very disappointing and border line offensive experience because of an employee at the reception (Abdulah, Abdelah? I have forgotten the name but it was an elder African man with glasses). He was rude and condescending, calling me by my first name when I had never met him before. After the check out, I sat down to wait for a friend that was going to pick me up for lunch. The man at the reception was extremely friendly to a caucasian french speaking couple. When my friend arrived, we asked him if he could recommend us a place in the near where we could eat and his answer was 'people usually walk down the street and find out' which again, was unfriendly and rude. I am a big fan of the Accor Hotels family but such experiences discourage me from booking again.

Very pleasant stay. It's position is very convenient as the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Pigalle metro and the streets of Montmartre. However, the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the district may not suit some people. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and it was my husband‘s birthday and they put balloons and macaroons in the room. I recommend staying in a privilege room as it had great views of the Sacre Couer. This hotel is small but clean, however I would rate it three star versus four. The shower was open so every time you had a shower it soaked the floor. It was great to have a Nespresso machine but they didn’t replenish the coffee for our second day.

Great location and about a 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord or a 2 transfer (one stop each) on the Metro. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Although we didn't take in the breakfast there, it looked like those that did were enjoying it. Loved the little candies in the hall put out for guests to enjoy. We had not stayed at this location before but were very pleased with it. Found it a very walkable area to the places we wanted to visit in the 9th, 10th, and 18th arrondissements. Our room was on the side lane where we had a small balcony and allowed us to have the windows open at night without a lot of noise. The only changes that could be made is the bathroom where if you were of larger size, you may have trouble getting in and closing the door.

Easy check in. Nice room. It was a warm weekend and hotel had turned off the air con. However it was noisy outside and we therefore had a disturbed nights sleep. Room was nice, breakfast excellent. Great location for visiting Paris

Great staff, decent welcome and checking in. Baggage holding worked well as check-in overlapped with housekeeping and check-in. Need to explain how the lift works - as I hadn't experienced this before! Room bijou to say the least. Door to toilet would be challenging for new couples! Breakfast was suffice, great choice and service in the restaurant was good - thanks Anne Marie. Had no house keeping on one day, until too late, early evening when we couldn't accommodate. Perfect location.

Ok . .biggest complaint was the bed ... awful . I didn't say anything at the time but I had to sleep on top of the duvet in order to find a bit more comfort
