We had a great stay at Maison Delano. The hotel was beautiful, staff was wonderful, and our rooms were perfect for a family of 5. Location of the hotel is great as well with a lot of walkable attractions.

Fantastic but short stay. Great staff. Comfortable Hotel. We had trouble with our luggage and the Concierge team handled everything beautifully, making sure we had everything we needed. They continued to support us even after we had checked out and guided us through the baggage retrieval process.

The hotel is located in the 8th district, but not too far from the 2nd and a short walk from Place de la Concorde, Tuilierie Gardens, and between a few metro lines. It is a five star luxury boutique hotel which shows from the moment our taxi pulled up. Staff came out and took our luggage immediately, they wouldn't even let us take it. They then escorted us to the check-in desk and after we checked in, we were walked to the room. We were given a junior suite, one floor up, room 107. It is one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. It's a mix of touches from the histoic nature of the building - the doorhandles, the windows, the floors, with a mostly white (blah) aesthetic. You walk into the suite and you're in a little hallway. In front of you on the right is a closet and drawers built in, lots of storage. You'll also find a steamer and hairdryer there. On your left there's a door, that's the small watercloset where you'll find the toilet with a Toto bidet attachments. That's a really nice touch! Once you get up from it a little fan turns on to try to help with any smell. Directly across the entrance is the bathroom. In this suite there's a large shower with a giant rain shower attachment and a handheld sprayer. Sadly, there's no way to mix the two, some places I've been to allow you to have the rain above you as well as the handheld. There's a towel warmer rack on the wall, where were hung two bath robes and pairs of slippers. There are two massive sinks. There's a small shelf under each mirror and a table between each sink. The shower is nice and there's a lot of room. My issues are with the sink that I describe below. Entering the other room there's a sitting area on your left with a love seat, coffee table, and two swivel chairs. A nice comfortable area to sit. At the end of the room is a desk with a comfortable chair. The minibar/fridge is hidden in the drawer, that's also where you'll find accessories for your wine or coffee. There's a Bluetooth speaker on the desk as well. The king bed is comfortable. Behind the nightstand are lots of buttons and switches to control lights - unfortunately when stumbling in the morning it's hard to know what's what. There's also a reading light on each side. The room is very quiet and comfortable. It faces the interior courtyard, although the hotel is on a quiet side street so I'm unsure if there would be noise there either. I had read reviews of DJs and music, but when we stayed, there was none of that, it's quiet and relaxing. The room was kept very clean. When we came back from dinner there would be a little piece of dark chocolate and a box of water on either side of the bed. Our slippers would be at each side of the bed, and sometimes there would be an additional mini-carpet under the slippers. A few of the evenings we got a knock to check and make sure we didn't need anything additional. Concierge staff were very helpful with suggestions and making reservations. Breakfast was included with our rate, otherwise it's over 40 Euro each. Service there again was wonderful. Coffee or other hot beverage of your choice. Evian bottled water. You can order your eggs and meat option from the waitstaff. The rest is a continental buffet with all the stuff you'd expect - breads, pastries, fruit, veggies, juices, sliced meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, yogurt, and more. Issues: The USB charger points on the side of the bed furthest away from the door don't work, the ones on the other side do. There are lots of switches and buttons to switch lights, shades, etc., but NONE of them are labelled. If this were my own home, I'd figure it out and remember but it results in me turning things on and off multiple times to try to figure it out. On either side of the bed there's a three way switch (up, down, middle) that doesn't do anything. A similar one exists in the bathroom which controls the blinds. There aren't motorized blinds in the bedroom and the bed doesn't move, unsure what these are for. The two sinks in the bathroom, if you turn on the faucet only a little bit, water will trickle down along the faucet and pool behind the sink. If you turn it up more, it makes a sound almost like an alien/monster from movies and splashes you if you stand in front of it. It's there more for aesthetics than for function and was mostly annoying. The shower has a giant rain shower, but it is so big that the supporting bar that goes across to hold up the glass door is in its way, so water hits it. There's buildup on it and it makes the shower less impressive. You can control the A/C or heat, turn the temp up and down and set the fan speed, the problem is that if you take it off of auto and turn the fan up (we have it on 3) somewhere around 3am each night the system resets. Each morning I'd wake up somewhere around 4am sweating because the fan stopped. This was annoying.

I’m a regular customer so I can explain why I pout only a 5/10 for my last stay: multiple errors and overcharging my bill.. plus, welcome attention lower than previous stays
