First day of opening. Excellent location. Very helpful staff. All good - except fire alarm went off at 7am (teething problems- not a problem) and VERY expensive breakfast at 15 euros. But overall would go back.

The hotel was not so clean as expected. Lots of dust, wherever you had a look to. The guy at reception is kidding the guests. I ordered a taxi but got UBER. The price was much higher than expected. The taxi driver seems to be a good friend of the hotel guy. Price was fixed with taxi driver without asking me. The taxi driver told me 150€, after I got in discussion with him he reduced to 129€. How can this happen? UBER has a fixed price and even 129€ was too much. You are kidding the guests.

We are sorry that you had to endure the dust problems directly related to our current renovation work. Regarding your transport, I remind you that the requested race included a journey to Paris Bercy for a first person, then a journey to the airport. 150 € for the two races was therefore not that expensive. We only work with drivers and taxi companies who have pre-determined costs for destinations such as Paris and airports, as required by regulation. Versailles is a small town and we have good relations with the drivers we call for our customers. Uber rates are fluctuating and we cannot tell about their rates. Hotel us in a great location, great price and lots of places to eat! Staff is friendly! I can’t remember the name of the young man that helped us but he helped us order pizza lol, works very hard! We appreciate him and all of his help!

When searching for the Hotel on Google a picture of a large Chateau appears, so somewhat surprised when we found the Hotel was on a normal backstreet corner. Doors were closed when I arrived, rang for ~5-10mins before the Receptionist finally arrived. Had a parking space booked, you could have warned us that it was so small, and as it was nearly full we could barely turn the car around. Got allocated room next to Elevator, asked to be moved, but Receptionist advised no other rooms as some stairwells had been condemned pending repair. Elevator broke-down also why we were there. In summary, if I had not seen the Mercure sign, I have thought I was in a 1 star accommodation by the Service and Facility, won't be coming back and will advise other work colleagues to avoid!!

Staff friendly and efficient. Room was clean, not large but you wouldn't expect a large room in the environs of Paris for this price. The bathroom with walk in shower was nice. Breakfast excellent. Parking very limited and not big enough for an SUV but a good underground car park is near by.

We arrived late but no problem to get a parking lot. We've been welcomed by friendly staff. Rooms were prepared and clean. It seems that the room 406 got some painting. The smell of fresh paint was noticeable. The Breakfast was sufficient. Check in and out without problems. Minor remark with respect to the room infrastructure. Long pants cannot be properly hung on the available clothes rail. The tap at the sink is too short and there is no way to hang up a used towel properly.

The room was okay, but it was not possible to regulate the heating. Even when setting it to 15°C it was brutally hot in the room. The only option to cool the room down was to turn it off and open the window.

We arrived late afternoon and in the pouring rain. The hotel is not the easiest to get to as the one way streets and the car's built in French sat nav were not in accord. So a bit fraut The receptionist was really friendly and helpful Parking is difficult but once in the garage it was OK and it was out if the rain - there is very limited parking The room was small and the floor sloped up to the bathroom and the window view was rubbish We did not have breakfast so no comment They are refurbishing the hotel so maybe next time the room will be better It was cheap and convenient

Ibis experience instead of Mercure

I was surprised this was a Mercure property. It felt very much like being at an Ibis hotel instead. Room was very small and we had no room to leave our 2 small bags. No place to open them. I have never been in a Mercure that felt like that. Very disappointed. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are quite small but it is an older building in a very central location so this is to be expected. Last time when I arrived I was offered a soft drink as there was no bar to have a welcome drink as a silver member, however nothing was offered this time or anytime during the stay but the online check in went well and the iron and ironing board were already placed in my room as requested which was useful. The room itself was quite clean and the bed was very comfortable, however the room was tired and in need of updating and the sofa in the room was badly stained which was off putting. The bathroom in the room was a reasonable size and the shower was quite good but the ceiling above the shower was covered in black mold and there was a lot of mold and dirt around the door and wall of the shower which made it very unpleasant to use the shower and I am reluctant to stay at this hotel again because of this. This hotel is a very similar price to the Mercure Velizy but the quality of the experience is very different. All the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

A Nice Hotel Ideally Located for Visiting Versailles

The hotel is in an excellent location and only a short walk form the railway station. The rooms are very good and I had two comfortable nights sleep. The only downside is the fact the hotel does not have a bar or restaurant, however you are only a very short walk from some great restaurants.

As usual it was a comfortable stay. The personnel was friendly and the service good. The only concern is about the check-out. There seems to be only one credit card reader at the reception. This creates delays during check-out , especially if technical problems like a missing WiFi connection comes on top.
