The location is great, the building is pretty, the breakfast is huge. The room appears pleasant. However, I did not sleep well because there appears to be a non-breathable mattress protector which meant I had difficulty regulating my temperature over night.

At the same time, we are very sorry to learn that you did not get a comfortable night’s sleep due to the mattress protector. We would like to clarify that the mattress protector in our rooms is not made of plastic. The ones we use are made in molleton + polyurethane (PU), a combination that is commonly used in hotels to protect mattresses and maintain hygiene. That being said, we fully understand that everyone’s comfort preferences are different and we realize that some materials can trap heat and affect comfort. Please be assured that we take your comment seriously. We will review our current protector material and explore more breathable options to improve sleep quality for our guests. We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us to enhance our guest experience. We hope you might consider staying with us again in the future, so we can better meet your expectations. Great stay, we were allocated on the top floor as requested and could even get a view of the Château in the distance. Very kind and helpful staff. Safe area, just a short stroll to the chateau, we didn't use the parking as our car is quite long but we parked for free nearby which is always nice. Minor thing is the sliding door for the bathroom doesn't slide very well and doesn't fully shut, I can't see it lastly very long.

Although the room was situated on the ground floor, there was a noticeable level of noise disturbance from the street
