I booked a classic room for 4 days. It was our anniversary of marriage. When we arrived we were shown to a family room that more than showed its age. We went for a meal and settled for a nights sleep. We realised during the night that the room was not connected on the main heating system. In addition we had a most peculiar sink that didn't hold water. Also the toilet was peculiarly situated with only about 20 cms between the toilet bowl and the wall. On the Saturday we complained to a member of staff who said we couldn't move because they were fully booked and to ask the following morning. He did however come and show us an electric connector heater that did hear the room. Most annoying was the light in the entrance that could only be switched off by removing the room key controlling the electricity. On the following day we were given a classic room that was exactly what we had expected on our arrival. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and helpfull, apart from us not getting on arrival the room we had booked.

I was Traumatised by the Breakfast Waiter who told me to leave the breakfast room with my little dog Bertie. He failed to mention that we could eat in the bar and suggested we eat in the bedroom. I was travelling with a friend and paid for two rooms (plus two breakfasts at €16 each). We expected to eat together but each room only had one chair and no table! It was an aggressive act by the waiter. I am short and recently widowed and my little dog is my support dog. I had to say “N’Avancez Plus” several times and hold my hands up in front of me. I am awaiting a refund of at least the breakfasts that I paid for but was denied.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room spacious and lovely bedding and good bathroom. Carpet a little tired in room and stairwell needs renovating very tired. Nice to have coffee making facilities and a mini fridge in the room to keep a few items in. Reception lovely and reception staff very helpful Bit further from Versailles palace than we expected but we like walking so nice to see the area. Secure parking a bonus.
