I stayed at Jouy en Josas to break my journey from Normandy to Switzerland, thus avoiding central Paris. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the location quiet and therefore restful for the traveller, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. It seemed to be popular with business people working at Velizy. I would stay there again.

After a long, difficult journey we were greeted with a cheery welcome from Frederick, on reception. After checking in, we were looked after by Delphine who arranged food and drinks for us.

My father had a reservation we tried to cancel a month before because unfortunately unfortunately, was involved in a terrible car accident resulting in a severe spinal injury. He underwent emergency surgery and now must remain immobile for at least a month. A medical situation entirely unforeseen and beyond our control, still the hotel charged my father a month before the reservation 80% of his reserve payment after been a loyal customer of the hotel, denoting a tremendous lack of humanity and a quality of service far below what one would expect from this establishment. I will like to share this experience with all necessary parties, highlighting the lack of consideration and poor quality of service received by the hotel staff and direction,
