1- Reception access from parking through narrow stairs is really not convenient 2- breakfast supply on 01/01 (scrambled eggs for instance) not available as early as 10:30; staff verbally stating :”no more” 3- dinner on 01/01 ; the menu written on a movable board was presented to other tables excepted mine 4- the mini fridge almost fell down when opening the door: one front leg was missing (room 411) 5- the sofa left armrest was broken

We stayed here for the 4th time but was unfortunately disappointed this time. Understandably it was during a busy period being New Year’s Eve and so when we tried to park in the hotel car park once pressing the buzzer we were told it was full. This is fine, it happens. Not being from France and not knowing the area, we didn’t no where else to park so I called the hotel directly and told them I am staying with them and could I have advise on where else to park please. The woman who answered the phone call called Magalie was extremely rude to me. Didn’t let me speak and told me they’re not accepting reservations. I tried to talk to say that that’s not the reason I am calling and she again was extremely rude and hang up the phone. When we eventually found alternative parking ourselfs we walked in to the reception area and asked the same lady to speak to the manager. We was then told “why” one word bad tone and she “ssshd” us. She was extremely rude and her attitude was so bad not how I would expect to be spoken to in a client facing role. She walked off mid conversation and wouldn’t let us get a word in just keep shouting over us. I am extremely disappointed with this encounter and truth be told it has dampened our experience and put us off returning. I think we will look elsewhere in future which is a shame.

A very friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. It’s a normal Novotel but offers good accommodation at a reasonable price. The parking is good at 15 euros a day which is great value compared to most other parking in the area. The tourist tax for Paris is high at 8.45 Euros a day per person! The cafe/bar opposite is a great venue for food and very reasonably priced. Access to Versailles palace is about 20 min walk which means it’s in an excellent location. Also the station 15 mins away is easy for access into Paris. On the whole it is a great hotel.
