We had a truly perfect stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast and club lounge food were of excellent quality. All the staff were kind and helpful. Haley at the front desk was especially welcoming and attentive. As a Korean staff member, she made us feel even more at ease, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely return on our next visit to Melbourne.

We did arrive late in the evening, but found finding reception with our bags was more difficult than it needed to be due to lack of signage and assistance. Once arriving in our room in the dark we had trouble locating the main light switch as it is behind you once you entered. If the front desk had informed us of this it would have saved fumbling around in the dark with bags. Our bed whilst comfy had two definite divots on each side. The pillow and bed lined where fine, as was the turn down service. The shower over the bath seems old fashion and was tedious to get in and out of. The towels whilst a lovely size where thin and could have done with replacing. In saying all of this the positives outweighed the negatives. The location was excellent, as was the pianist in the reception area on the Sunday.
