We checked In late and upon arrival we had found that we were booked in for one night in one room and then a second night in another. As gold club members we were not impressed with the cost of the stay which was $100 more to stay in the say room for 2 nights with no club breakfast included. Although that staff were very apologetic and advised we should have been staying in the different room of the hotel they were fully booked and could not upgrade our stay. Our mini bar was empty apart from a bottle of champagne and 2 bottles of water. Whilst staying at the hotel we tried to call to make a booking at restaurant 35, we called and got no answer so call through to concierge to assist with the booking who advised they would call back which they never did so we ate outside of the Hotel. Lastly upon checkout we left our luggage at the hotel to be collected letter, when we returned we found the had been an issue with the luggage tags and some of our luggage was missing, after a 40 min search it was found. Overall our weekend was not as expected as it was an anniversary weekend surprise for my wife.

We were there for a few nights for our anniversary and were delighted with the sweet touches the hotel left to improve our stay! We are so grateful for how welcome you made us feel including giving us early check-in which timed perfectly with our flights. Unfortunately we did send down some boots for polishing which came back with a substantial gouge out of the leather - we understand these things do happen from time to time, and this did not take away from the great service that all other staff offered us, but it was a little disappointing.

Lost way in service. 1. Food. Example coffees delivered cold, omelets over cooked, entree delivered cold. 2. Elevators playing sofitel advert over and over about french way but nothing in hotel reflects french way in advert or french chic. Eg. Bulbs replaced in open foyers on different levels with wrong globe light colour (Looks poor). Hotel doesnt display fun feel you are advertising. Check in area displaying wooden seats in centre of entrance? Decor not french? 3. Room dust all over furniture. Cleanliness below par. Sofitel below other accor hotels stayed at where 10+ years ago it was above. 4. Positive is staff friendly.

The night was a revisitation of our wedding night, we had our reception at La Restaurant 25 years ago. Your staff at the Sofitel Exec Club where extremely appropriate and helpful. I travel a lot for work (use to and will again) and have never had such a standout warmth. Our room was lovely abeit had a musty water smell which wasn't pleasant. Unfortunately and totally my fault I mistakenly didn't get the room booking correct. We had a room on the 50th floor for our wedding night New York themed from memory and I booked a suite on your 49th as this seemed your best room........next time.

Pleasing to see the Sofitel on Collins nearly back to full service business. While the executive lounge experience is still somewhat Covid constrained that was more than made up by the professionalism of Sofitel staff.. They were thoroughly professional and helped with urgent printing request without hessitation. The Sofitel on Collins remains one of our favourite global destinations.
