I loved my stay from start to finish. The accommodation was well located, and in good condition. There was a beautiful fragrance as you walked into the hotel, and it was clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming, smiling and helpful. Check in was smooth, which meant I could get into my room quickly (as an Accor plus member I got a free upgrade and a bottle of wine). My room was given a quick clean (bed made, bins emptied) each day, which I was not expecting, nice the staff went to the additional effort. The facilities in the room were practical. I loved how quiet it was , even though there were busy roads and a rail track nearby, I didn’t hear a thing. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. I used the QR minibar - worked well! Checking out was as easy as coming in, with friendly staff .

a woman on the front desk called me telling me a man is here to check in and should I allow it, the man is Paul P. my husband with same surname as mine using a card with same surname as mine, I understood it's a points system or something and people try to scam points or whatever but she didn't need to be rude and dismissive to him nor demanding and screachy with me me, as I said, I understand I booked the room for us in my name and I was late and Paul arrived and unfortunately her behaviour was grubby
