Little noisy with train line as expected. But a lovely room

Before even ariving the level of customer service was next to non existent, and it didn't get any better when I arrived or at any point during my stay. Point blank refused the option to prepay stay, and spoken to like I don't know how to adult Arrived to no one on reception Requesting parking was both laborious and seemed like a hassle to the receptionist Room was average at best, worn, dated and had a leaking fridge Intended to stay for 5 nights, so glad I found somewhere else for the second half of the trip as I would have loathed staying here longer than I had to

Regarding your arrival, we do have one team member on duty overnight, and at times they may be assisting other guests throughout the hotel. During these moments, signage at Reception provides a contact number so guests can reach the team immediately. I’m sorry if this was not clear during your check-in. In relation to prepayment, our hotel does not process manual prepayments prior to arrival. Prepaid stays can only be arranged through our official website via a prepaid rate code or approved corporate travel agents. This policy is in place to protect both our guests and the business due to increased credit card fraud across the industry. I apologise if this wasn’t communicated clearly. I’m also sorry that arranging parking and the condition of certain room features did not meet your expectations. Your comments about the fridge leak have been passed on to Maintenance for follow-up. First time staying at this Mantra and it was chosen basically due to the location to the MCG for a function. It's location is ideal for walking to this venue. Our room was booked as a small studio but was upgraded to a larger room. The room is basic with no bells and whistles but fine for what we were after. The check in and check out process was easy & we'd stay again if we had something to attend to at the MCG. (Obviously the location is the major selling point).

shower in the room was very noisy, parking is too expensive for parking in such small spaces. I had to open the back door and climb over the front seat to get into my car. leaving my keys with reception was not an option for me. breakfast was not available on Tuesday.

Our car park does have tighter bays due to the building’s design, and I understand how difficult that made manoeuvring your vehicle. Reception is always happy to assist with parking as needed, though I appreciate this may not have been suitable in your situation. Breakfast is currently available from Wednesday to Sunday, and I understand this may have caused some disappointment on a Tuesday. We’re pleased to share that from early 2026, our breakfast service is planned to operate seven days a week. We enjoyed a short stay in Mantra on Jolimont. The room was neat, tidy, and spacious enough for the two of us. I think the place is good for long stay too as they have laundry facilities just next to the room. We love that there is amenities too which are the gym and pool with spa.
