Everything about my stay at Hyde Melbourne Place was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the modern controls, with the lights and curtains conveniently operated by buttons on the wall. The shower was also excellent and made the room even more enjoyable. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to many of Melbourne’s top attractions, restaurants, and sights. Overall, I had an outstanding stay and would happily stay at Hyde Melbourne Place again.

My husband and I stayed for the second time at Hyde, Melbourne Place. Room was everything we needed and very comfortable and modern. Reception thanked us for returning to the hotel, which was a lovely touch.

I was assigned a disabled room where the taps did not work and the room was dirty upon arrival (used towel still in the shower). The bedding also had not been changed as there was hair on the pillows. I understand the idea of the mood lighting in the room however you cannot do your makeup at all. Overall a very disappointing stay that I was looking forward to.

We were charged twice to stay at the hotel. Was called to advise mistake had been made and refund would be issued. Checked at hotel on Tuesday and refund still not issued. Was told it would be done by Wednesday. It is now Friday and still no refund. Very unhappy

Comfortable stay, the hotel has a very cool vibe. It is unfortunate though that the rooftop is so popular, as a hotel guest I wanted to have a drink at the hotel however the rooftop is the only option and it was completely booked out/too crowded. My only option was to go out although with a baby my options were limited. It would be nice to have another private area for hotel guests only.

Great hotel, well appointed with thoughtful extras. Rooftop bar bonus destination in itself. Helpful staff, highly recommend.

Stayed here as I was attending a concert close by. I was neither overwhelmed or underwhelmed. I was simply whelmed

I see the Hotel amazing Hotel the customer service amazing the staff the desk is very helpful. The cleaner very hopeful. then the food is amazing for the dinner. I appreciate your high. Recommend to anybody. I definitely will come back to stay. Same place the comfortable bed the shower and the coffee machine. Will be longer at the moment. I stay for 3 nights the locations amazing perfect to go everywhere. Thank you for the customer service appreciate very much.

Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was cozy and comfortable. Free drink card was a plus. Room was very clean and tidy, however went out on the Sunday, came back around 3pm and the room had not had a “cleanse”. We put on the door that we wished for one. (Minor issue in our eyes, would have been nice however)

The location and overall stay was good. However I wasn't impressed when I need to pay for slippers where as almost every other hotel provide them free for charge. I also prepaid for breakfast and thought it's a buffet style breakfast. However you just get to pick an item from a small selection. The portion size was a bit small and the coffee was pretty average as well. You'll get better value if you skip the prepaid breakfast and head to any cafe nearby.

Great experience. Staff were all super friendly and helpful and the location was ideal, right in the middle of the CBD. Would definitely stay again!

Service is amazing, rooms are very clean. We love the location and having the restaurants above is so good! Our only negative experience would be that both times we’ve stayed now the rooms have an off odour to them. My parents stayed there a few weeks ago and they also noted that. Besides that we love the hotel and will be back again

I initially booked one night at Hyde but changed my plans and extended the booking to two nights, as the stay was intended to celebrate my partner’s 37th birthday. Hyde had been appearing frequently in Accor advertisements and on social media, and the hotel was presented in such an appealing and stylish way that we were genuinely excited to experience it for ourselves. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing, particularly when it came to the customer service. To make matters worse, I had called the hotel several days before our stay specifically to see if anything could be arranged to make my partner’s birthday special. Given that this was a significant occasion for us, I had hoped for a little extra care and attention. As someone familiar with the level of service I would generally expect from other Accor properties, I have to say that Hyde fell well short of those expectations. The overall experience did not feel consistent with the standard I associate with the Accor brand and, based on our experience, Hyde felt closer to a 3.5-star hotel than the experience its marketing and social media presence led us to expect. It was particularly disappointing because we had chosen Hyde specifically because of the way it was presented through Accor and social media. Unfortunately, the reality did not match those expectations, and what should have been a memorable birthday stay was instead a rather underwhelming experience.

We had an overall pleasant stay at the Hyde, but found it wasn't as nice as we expected. The design of the rooms was beautiful, with a good layout, and really liked the room controls on the touch screen. We noticed some of the walls in the room had a lot of scratches and scuffs on them. We found the hallways to be a bit dirty and needed a more thorough clean. The lobby also gets very crowded during peak times, and everyone blocks the doorway. There were also noisy guests in the adjacent room that were definitely partying, but luckily they only woke us up once. I would probably only go back if I got a good deal. The QT across the road is my benchmark and that is miles better in my opinion.
