It was our first time to stay at the Hyde! All staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with a huge choice available to you. The room was lovely and relaxing to be in. Who could ask for more.

Hard-product is good. Nice bed, good rooms (a little small but not a deal breaker). Staff downstairs were quick. Integration into Accor is very poor. Welcome drink didn’t work. No welcome amenity (I even called and asked and was told it was on its way, spoiler: it wasn’t). Complimentary chips, popcorn and chocolate is a nice touch but was only replenished once on a 3 night stay. Staff should also tell you that as I only found out when I was reviewing the tablet. Breakfast was small, but nice. I don’t think I’d change too much on the buffet it doesn’t need to be a full sized one for a hotel of your size.

I had booked three rooms (Fri-Mon) inclusive of breakfast, evening drinks and late check-out. As we were checking out very early Monday we did not require the last check-out or breakfasts. I requested an early check-in for one room as we were travelling with elderly parents. I was advised subject to availability. My father injured himself on his way to the hotel and his leg was bleeding heavily and it needed to be elevated. We notified reception and they told us they would prioritise check-in for my parents. They could see the rooms had been cleaned but hadn't been checked yet but should be soon (told this by more than one person when they were checking the system). That was before midday. We waiting in the lobby trying to keep my father's leg elevated and making multiple visits to the chemists for bandages. We checked with reception multiple times explaining the situation with my father. Each time we were told we would be prioritised and they would call us as soon as the room was ready. We were not called. It was after 3 when we were able to access a room after lining up with everyone else. Unfortunately, this was not a good start to the weekend. It is a shame because the rooms were lovely, the hotel well located and the breakfast very good.
