Was satisfactory however all lights came on automatcally at 7.30am!!

We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed our location, atmosphere, and architecture, and that you found the cleanliness well up to standard. We are, however, truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the lighting system. Being woken up unexpectedly is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. We will review the room’s automation settings and improve our guidance to ensure the technology is easier to understand and use. We also appreciate your comments regarding the waiting times during check-in and check-out. We understand how frustrating delays can be during busy periods, and your feedback is very helpful for us as we look at ways to improve the guest flow at reception. Fantastic room and overall happy, except for the noise. Was woken several times during the night- I know it’s right in the CBD but the street noise was incredibly loud even though room was at the back. There was also a “crack in the balcony” which means we didn’t get our balcony room, which happens and was ok, but I don’t know,,, for a new hotel is that likely or was this a white lie because you’d double booked or something? Seemed a bit odd!

We arrived earlier than our checkin time but our room was ready so we were able to go up straight away. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us all of the information regarding our stay at the hotel. Our room was nice and bright, with big windows looking out over the city. The bed was comfortable and there is a button beside the bed that operates all of the lights and the blind to shut out the lights at night. We did not use the restaurant, however we did go downstairs into the bar Mr Mills for our complimentary drinks. You need to ask for the lift if you have a problem with stairs, as they are quite steep.
