I stayed for one night for work and my room was in a great quiet location and very comfortable. The staff on the front desk in particular I must thank very much for being so accomodating as I required documents printed and to borrow scissors during my stay for work preparation. They were very patient and super helpful, and also stored my baggage the following day. I had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this lovely hotel.

As above and as a Gold Accor member no complimentary upgrade on both our stays. Our first stay 10-11th September 2025 (fun date!)there was a fire alarm at 8am. Fire trucks, alarms, we where told to evacuate. As we were racing out the door the evacuation was cancelled. We decided to checkout early.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous room. Rooftop bar was cute. Room service menu could offer a touch more incl. vegetarian options. Service charge for room service was questionable but food was delicious. Mini bar was great. Sadly pod coffee machine in room was broken, leaking and couldn’t pour water into the cup, but that’s easily fixable not a huge issue. Quiet room. The green and dark wood design so calming. Loved it. Will definitely stay-cay again.

Overall it was a lovely stay. The staff is accommodating. There are a few small hiccups like balcony door wasn’t closed properly upon arrivals etc but none that is of concern. The only drawback is the breakfast. My husband and I arrive at 10.43am for breakfast at Cleo (website had mentioned breakfast is till 11am), only for the staff to turn us away and mentioned last order is 10.45am. This is extremely disappointing as that was not mentioned on the website. However, the staff at the reception was kind enough to have a word with the restaurant for us in which they made an exception. The last order timing should be made explicit somewhere if this is the case. Additionally, the add-ons for the breakfast is quite ridiculous. 30AUD for brekkie per person only gets you standard items on the menu and we are expected to pay 8AUD for every additional add-on. This arrangement has certainly brought down the overall satisfaction of the stay.

I like that the room was aesthetic and the bed was comfortable. The place was well located too. However, if you’re the type who prefers functionality to aesthetic, you may want to think this through. I was not a fan of the doorless bathroom/shower because 1. It would be cold when I put one foot out of the shower head. And 2. If you’re traveling with others and sharing a room with them, it will be difficult to use the shower. Your room could you see you in the circle window by the bedroom, the mirror by the shower, and finally the shower itself. Next is the housekeeping. I stayed for a week and there were days when my water and my amenities were not refilled (especially the complimentary bottles of water). You only get 2 per day and it’s disappointing when they don’t even give you on the other days. And finally, the breakfast. Breakfast takes a while because the staff has to take orders, cook, and serve meals. I would’ve loved if there was a buffet so it’s easier for hotel guests to grab what they can eat and go while staff can focus on cooking, seating, and making sure the buffet is refilled.

Overall a good stay. I arrived 15 minutes prior to check in time but my room was not ready. Check in was pretty clunky. I completed the check in information online that was sent to me but seems that doesn’t get to the front desk. I had clicked the paid upgrade room option and received an email that the upgrade was pending however when I was checking in the staff were not aware of the process, my upgrade request or the difference room types. Turns out there weren’t any available anyway. I waited in the bar until I got the call my room was ready but that didn’t come until well after 3pm.
