We had a pleasant one-night stay at Mantra Hotel in Melbourne. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The facilities were well maintained and met all our needs. The one room apartment was clean, comfortable, and well presented, which made the stay relaxing.

We have stayed with you previously. When booking this room, I sent an email advising that this stay coincided with our 35th wedding anniversary, and that it was also the final night required to achieve Accor Platinum status. As you can appreciate, reaching Platinum status reflects a significant level of loyalty, built over many stays where recognition and attention to detail have typically meant something. Likewise, celebrating 35 years of marriage is a meaningful milestone. Unfortunately, on this occasion, neither our loyalty nor the significance of the anniversary appeared to be acknowledged, which was disappointing given our prior experiences with Accor properties.

We sincerely apologise that your recent stay did not reflect the level of recognition you rightfully expected, particularly given the significance of both your 35th wedding anniversary and the milestone of achieving Accor Platinum status. The room was neat and clean however the bathroom was very outdated and the shower over the bath was not a great experience. The hot water was scorching, and it took a while to adjust to a good temp. The breakfast in particular was the most disappointing. The lady who greeted us could really care less, no smile nothing. Also we had to ask for plates and cutlery and she just told us to get cutlery from another table. Seemed dis interested. In fact we felt as if we were a bother to her. We were not even told we could order eggs to order. The tables where not clean either. I will say the staff at reception were nice. I wish I could say more as I have stayed at Mantra's before and in fact we are staying with Mantra on Gold Coast so expecting it to be better.
