Very basic hotel that is price gouging with very zero service offered. If you can't service rooms daily, then don't charge the same price as your superior competitors who do service rooms on a daily basis. Feeling ripped off and won't be returning!

I stay at Mantra On russell with family and friends all the time when visiting Melbourne from Interstate, which is quite regularly. The staff are helpful and kind and the location is brilliant.

An enjoyable stay at The Mantra on Russell Street. Our only criticism was the bathroom soap etc all needed filling up as did the tissues.

My only complaint is I feel when you are staying 3 or more days in a one bedroom apartment your rubbish should be collected at least once and your bed changed at least once. I did ask reception to have my rubbish collected but no one came. In saying that I always enjoy staying here, the staff are lovely and I will be staying again on numerous occasions.

This means that the bed linen change and rubbish collection are not automatically scheduled during shortened stay.
