We found the hotel and staff to be very welcoming. The one bedroom suite we stayed in was spacious and well laid out. The furnishings and decor are a little dated but that can be forgiven as all the amenities are available and the cost makes for such allowances.

The room was adequate. The bed was very bouncy and every movement could be felt by the other person. The freezer was blocked with ice and kept the fridge door open and the fridge kept coming on all the time.

The location was fantastic and allowed us to walk anywhere we’d like within the CBD. Reception was amazing and very attentive. The room was tidy and the amenities were great. Our only complaint was the disorganisation of the breakfast buffet. It was very limited and had only one staff member. She did an amazing job, but it was clear they needed at least one another staff member. The understaffing led to us opting out of ordering barista made coffee, and going elsewhere. Everything else was wonderful. I hope the understaffing gets resolved.
