I stay at Mantra On russell with family and friends all the time when visiting Melbourne from Interstate, which is quite regularly. The staff are helpful and kind and the location is brilliant.

An enjoyable stay at The Mantra on Russell Street. Our only criticism was the bathroom soap etc all needed filling up as did the tissues.

My only complaint is I feel when you are staying 3 or more days in a one bedroom apartment your rubbish should be collected at least once and your bed changed at least once. I did ask reception to have my rubbish collected but no one came. In saying that I always enjoy staying here, the staff are lovely and I will be staying again on numerous occasions.

Regarding the housekeeping service, your reservation was made under a package that includes a weekly full service only. This means that the bed linen change and rubbish collection are not automatically scheduled during shortened stay. We are sorry to hear that your rubbish collection request wasn’t actioned — this is not the experience we aim to provide, and I will be following up with the team to ensure this does not happen again. If you prefer more frequent servicing on future stays, please let us know at check-in and we’ll be more than happy to arrange this for you. Thank you once again for your kind words about our staff. We were there for a special event. The mantra was chosen to suit the location of our event, yet we found it suitable for the extended part of our stay. The room was extremely spacious with the balcony door allowing us fresh air. All the necessary amenities provided. We will definitely return. Note: the beautiful aroma (floral scent) as soon as you enter the building and throughout was divine)
