One critical issue.. pillow or lack of!

This is a budget hotel and I expected it to be basic and just somewhere to crash for the night while in Paris, but one critical issue the pillows, well the one pillow we each had were best described as half full and when asking if we can have a second pillow we were told ‘no’ As budget hotel even at it basic level needs to be able to provide guest a comfortable good nights sleep, I can deal with the lack of extras I choose a cheaper option as they were not needed, but fundamentally even a budget hotel needs to offer basic sleep requirements! If you plan to stay here please take your own pillow, and maybe a towel as the supplied ones be them useable are still the size of a normal hand towel. Would have been a perfect budget stay if they had just sorted the pillows!

Staff is really nice and helpful! Room was not too big but clean and cozy. Did not liked the toilet situation tho. Shower is in the middle of the room and you have no privacy at all. Other than that had a good experience. Train station is also nearby so didn’t had any problems to travel.

A bit tired decor but reasonable value for money. Accepts payment with cheques vacances but paper only. Should accept electronic. No light for pedestrians on access road to hotel (app. 100m) ; very dark. Lamps along road but not lit and difficult to see.

The welcome was strange, unable to pay in ANCV chéques vacanace, however it was prompted when booked. Welcoming was quick but quite unfriendly... Arrived in the room the heater was at maximum ( I believe for a long time), the bed laundry wasn't fresh, when I tried to get a toothbrush and toothpaste, wasn't able to get one in the hotel (as the machine was OOS). Moreover the place was noisy. And somewhat payed some additional when arriving at the hotel. Disappointing experience.
