Very cold inside the hotel, poor service, low room quality, poor food.

I am used to come to this hotel for over 7 years. Each time, the overall quality of my stay is decreasing. This time, it was impossible to increase the room temperature (had to use a bathrobe to keep me warm!!!), the bathroom was poorly equipped, the temperature in the dining room was very low, the food was bad, the clearness of the plates was bad (I ended up with remaining butter on my hands trying to grab a clean plate), the service quality was low. I am supposed to come back for a week mid March but decided to use a different hotel as this last experience was really bad.

Hotel advertises air conditioning but in reality that's only available in the summer. In the winter your air conditioning doesn't work. After reporting that my room was too warm. Two staff investigated- couldn't solve it. (One of those staff when I opened my door, didn't introduce him self. Just said shall i take my shoes off. Being a single women thats a very odd thing for a male not dressed in uniform, or identifiable as staff say) I was advised to take a cold shower in the middle of the night if I was too hot. Unacceptable. As a women of a certain age I need a cold room to sleep in. Eventually I was given another room. However the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy. The window was opened to cool the room but then didn't close properly. Therefore the traffic noise made it difficult to sleep. It was a dreadful night. Don't advertise something you don't provide. At dinner because you don't show the bill just a total on a screen hand held device it wasn't until after we had paid that we realised we had been charged for different meals to those we ate. This hotel seriously needs to review its operations, it's staff capacities, competence and how it takes care of its customers. Perhaps a uniform or even badge instead of the random casually dressed staff on reception who often sit wearing a coat so they could be anyone as there is no way to determine they are hotel staff.
