Mercure Paris Velizy Hotel

Had a fantastic stay here from 6th-11th August. Staff are very helpful. Beds are very comfortable, I managed to get a good nights sleep, which is usually a struggle when not in my own bed. Amazing smelling complimentary Nuxe shower gel and hand wash, so nice, I bought some from the Nuxe website when I got back back home. Breakfast was brilliant. Plenty choice, good quality. Pool was really enjoyable after a long day of sightseeing, helped with my swollen ankles. Close to tram line and bus station/stops. Supermarket close by, located in the Westfield shopping centre. Would definitely recommend trying this hotel and would love to come back again in the near future.

Well the hotel was ok, we booked it because of the shuttle offered but it wasn’t running, so it made our week long business trip very difficult. They said they had various things at the desk like adaptors but did not. The hotel itself was fine though. The staff was nice and when there was a epidural room next us to us in the middle of the night they felt with it easily for us. The room was clean, and the breakfast was very good

Bad: very very noisy air con shower falling off wall restaurant would not give us a table for 6 when was easy to push tables together, they said not in policy to do?? Door did not shut properly unless slammed Good: Comfortable bed well located in Velizy Friendly reception staff

Nice accommodation very near offices in Velizy

Although I was situated in a nice, quiet corner of the hotel, I was not able to get much sleep during my 4 night stay as I found the mattress to be overly firm. I tried to go to the bar for a nightcap several times (in one evening), but was unsuccessful. Either the bartender was no where to be found (after 10 minutes I just left), or the bar was closed. One night it closed at 11, the next at 10:30. The nightly manager was very nice when I inquired about the closing time (thanks!!), but that didn't help me to fall asleep.
