Mercure is very well located in the Velizy area with close proximity to Westfield Mall. Considering I spend a little time in the hotel due to business needs - my overall experience was rather average. For a Mercure brand - the infrastructure is heavily due an upgrade - inside out. Hot water + air con was an issue on day 2 which then resolved gradually. Buffet was a decent spread.

First time staying at this hotel. I was in Velizy for a business trip. The room was quite nice but the tub in the bathroom was dangerous. There was a curve on the tub and it made moving during a shower VERY dangerous. The glass half wall did not keep the water from going into the bathroom floor. My bathroom floor would be soaked every time I showered. For breakfast, it was standard hotel fare. I just wished they would change it up every other day so the people starting there multiple days don’t have to eat the same thing each day.

Dear ALL Accor Customer Care, I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at Mercure Paris Velizy Hotel (Booking Number: QKFLDRSZ, 05 June 2026 – 06 June 2026) and to request compensation for an experience that fell significantly below the standards I expect from the Accor brand. I had recently undergone surgery and specifically booked this hotel in order to rest and recover before returning home. Unfortunately, instead of providing a clean, comfortable, and relaxing environment, the room assigned to me was in an unacceptable condition. During my stay, I observed visible mould and humidity damage on the walls and ceiling, stained fabrics, and an old air-conditioning unit that appeared poorly maintained and unhygienic the bathroom it was in terrible condition with lot of water in the room and broken parts. The overall condition of the room suggested a serious lack of maintenance and attention to cleanliness. I reported these issues to the reception desk. I would like to emphasize that the receptionist( only the afternoon shift guy) was polite and professional throughout our interaction. However, I was informed that the hotel was already aware of the issues in the room and that nothing could be done because no other room was available. While I appreciate the honesty and courtesy of the staff member, I find it extremely concerning that a room with known maintenance and hygiene issues was still offered to guests. The receptionist kindly offered complimentary breakfast as a gesture of goodwill. While appreciated, this did not address the actual problem. My concern was never about additional services, but about the condition of the room itself. A complimentary breakfast cannot compensate for visible mould, humidity damage, hygiene concerns, and an environment that was unsuitable for proper rest and recovery following surgery. I paid approximately €110 for this room plus 12€ for the parking lot !. In my opinion, the accommodation provided was nowhere near the standard that would justify that price. The condition of the room was deeply disappointing and far below what I reasonably expect from an Accor property. I have attached photographs documenting the issues described above. These are not minor cosmetic imperfections but clear maintenance and cleanliness concerns that should have been addressed before the room was made available to guests. As an ALL Accor Silver member, I chose your brand because of its reputation for quality and consistency. This experience unfortunately failed to meet even basic expectations and has left me extremely disappointed. Considering the condition of the room, the hotel's apparent prior knowledge of the issues, the lack of an effective solution, and the fact that I was recovering from surgery and specifically needed a clean and comfortable environment, I respectfully request appropriate compensation. This may take the form of a partial refund, ALL Reward Points, or another gesture that reflects the inconvenience and disappointment caused by this stay. I hope this matter can be resolved fairly and promptly. However, if a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, I will unfortunately have no option but to share my experience publicly through review platforms and, if necessary, consumer protection channels, supported by the photographic evidence collected during my stay. We arrived only wait hours for check in because the rooms were not ready. We were a party of 4 families and didn’t get into out rooms until 6pm. The children weren’t even allowed in the pool until we checked in which meant they had to sit around bored until the rooms were ready. I booked 4 rooms. All rooms had noisy air conditioning which made for a noisy night: one room’s air conditioning did not work at all. We asked for an engineer and they did not turn up. In the morning breakfast was chaotic. Not enough food and staff were too slow brining more food out. Coffee machines didn’t work properly, and the food was poor. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel needs major work

Arriving later in the evening, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the Diamond Membership. Typically at least they thanks for the business or something little. The room assigned has a broken Airco and there was only one receptionist left and said I will send somebody a 9AM. Know the temperature was 33 degrees. The room was above 25 degrees. Completely unacceptable and not a reference to come back to Mercure. I have seen nobody and checked out at 10.30AM. Teh breakfast was chaos. The hotel was full ans there was only 1 person... No registration possible and hardly filling of the food was ongoing. At checkout, I shared this and the only thing back.. bon voyage... So yes, then I wasn't really nice to them. It is is probably the worst stay since Im a member
