Quite good location - however roadworks around hotel made some confusion with access. It keeps good quality for rooms - however for example pool surrounding reveals lack of investments in last years (problem with showers in changing room, not stable pool ladder, no facilities for disabled people). Generally good impression with some minor minuses.

The hotel is completely outdated and not four start at all, especially the bathroom, ceiling in bathroom dirty and damages, shower is rusty and mildewed, the space below the water tabs was dirty and not cleaned. In the room (519), the window can not be closed as it does not fit into the frame anymore, very annoying as it is the direction to the motorway, so it was very noisy. It seems high price per night with zero invest. I was several times in this hotel this year, and it seems all rooms like this. When I arrived there was a long queue as the LAN was broken and the check in ladies had to run with each checkin somewhere into an office. The worst was, that the door cards also was not working, so you had to wait until a second reception person came back to bring you to the room. This fact was very bad for me as I forgot my wallet in the room, and the taxi was waiting outside for me. After waiting 15 minutes for being brought back to the room for opening my room, my taxi was gone. This can happen but it can not last three to four days. And it's a total fail of the management, because in such a case you need to have more people to manage such a situation. The ladies at the reception did really their best, but earned all the bad comments from the guests, for me it is a fail of shift planning. I will ask our company travel agency to remove this hotel from our corporate list as we can not propose this anymore as a Business hotel to our clients.

Difficult to find as building work going on for Westfield shopping centre, but there’s plenty of parking and once in the hotel the rooms are quiet. No reception desk, which I think is a mistake as it makes for a good interaction between staff and guest. Nice public areas and very fast elevators take you to your rooms. My room was clean, spacious, had plenty of storage, an excellent shower and all the things that come with a Mercure hotel. There was a broken bedside light but otherwise all was well and I slept well in the comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet-style and had a large selection of hot and cold food so there was something for all tastes. Don’t forget to use the lovely swimming pool, it’s open until late and you could be lucky to have it all to yourself.

The room and the restaurant (breakfast& dinner) were OK but the check in and check out processes have to be reviewed. One guy with a smartphone and one laptop PC welcoming you on small table in the middle of the hall with all customers around you. This is certainly less expensive for the hotel but this is not professional.
