The Mattress and wrong bathroom allocation

The Mattress! It was terrible. Like sleeping on a jelly trampoline.I tossed and turned all night and woke up with a sore back. No support from a overly soft, uncomfortable mattress. The good points: Room service dinner and breakfast were very generous and very good. Every thing else was good except even though we are ACCOR members we now have to pay for parking which used to be free. One other thing, when I booked I specified I needed a "walk-in" shower, not a shower over a bath. Guess what I got? After some hassle going back to reception I was given a room with a walk-in shower. Should have been the case in the first place. Don't staff read specific requests when allocating rooms?? But that mattress ! Physiotherapists will tell you all bedding should be firm and supportive.

We had an issue with our allocated room’s air conditioning not working, which everyone was aware of, so I’m not sure why they allocated that room to anyone until the air con had been fixed. When we complained about it, Rohit allocated us another room, which was a suite, but it still was an inconvenience because we had to move our belongings from the first room to the second room. Otherwise all staff were nice and helpful and the room was clean and tidy. Thanks

Staff were extremely accommodating and the hotel is in a prime location. The room was clean and nice and we had views of the ocean which was awesome. The main bar is very cool and had a great buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
