Great bar with a friendly inviting atmosphere. The young man that checked us in was a great ambassador for Novotel. He provided us with helpful insight of Wollongong and the hotel facilities. Later he called our room to check if all was good. It has been many years since that has happened during a hotel stay. Well done, Novotel. The bar area was busy but with ample staff everyone was attendant quickly. The hotel hallways need a spruce up , however our room was nicer than a recent Sofitel experience. We dined in the restaurant enjoying some wonderful dishes. One comment, breakfast was overpriced for the quality of food. Lukewarm eggs, bacon, etc . Not a good way to start the morning. Disappointing after such a good evening meal. My wife loved the fact the hotel was celebrating Christmas. Several weeks of travelling found other hotels lacking the festive spirit. Again, well done Novotel. We will return to enjoy this hotel on your next trip through Wollongong

We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary as per my booking notes. Unfortunately we didn't get any amenities or verbal wishes upon check in or also during our stay. On the good side, it's situated just near the Wollongong beach. It's just beautiful to see the blue water. We will be back and hope for much improved experience.
