Great location and beutifully keept grounds & gardens, the staff were very friendly and helpful, However the rooms were outdated and need to be upgraded seeing this is supposed to be a Pepper's Resort, the rooms decor were like 20 years old and the maintance seems to be lacking , phone was not working and no instructions or stationary in the rooms, the appliances for the the coffe and tea was like going back to the seventies motel stay, nescafe instant coffee and delmar teabags, 2 cups but only one teaspoon, no mini bar even tho it was advertised online. I did let the staff know and they inform me that they were trying to get the owner to update the rooms, lets hope the owner gets this done as previous reviews shows this has been ongoing for over a year. Like I said great location with beautiful gardens and grounds and freindly staff with good service all is needed now to make this a fantastic experince is to update the rooms and upgrade the amenities.

Beautiful & stunning location. The resort is charming. Beautiful manicured gardens breakfast was delicious. The staff were lovely. The room where travellers want to rest day/night was the biggest disappointment because the air conditioning was not working. There was no air flow. Fans in the air-conditioning were just not working at all. It was very warm, airless, stuffy, muggy, woke up sweating in the middle of the night so we didn't rest. We had friends stay in the room next door & had the problems. We did mention the air-conditioning problem to reception staff but nothing was done about it. So had another sleepless, uncomfortable night. The window opened about 5cm, which didn't help. The shower leaked had to roll a towel & put outside the shower door so we could step out to a dry floor. Not enough space between the toilet seat & towel rack. Had to message sure we didn't hit our heads against the towel rack when getting up. Paint peeling around the window seals & the railings around the verandah.General maintenance needed in & out. I love the Southern highlands, but I won't be staying there again. For $541.00 for 2 nights is expensive we wanted a great night sleep & didn't get it.

Because it was midweek. Should be able to accomodate visitors to better rooms to enhance their visitor experience. Breakfast was fantastic but had no desire to have dinner at the resort went into Bowral Could see all the online deal but was unable to book because it was only booked that morning Thanks
