I feel $910/2 nights for a small room out in the wing was exorbitant. I was definitely overcharged and would not have agreed to that nightly rate for the room allocated to us. I have stayed at Peppers in the past with a verandah room and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience. Please advise if the amount I was charged or should I contact Accor to take the matter further?

Beautiful setting and lovely old building but the interior and exterior is in drastic need of an update and general maintenance. Bathrooms were like a motel in the 80’s and were dirty with cracked sinks and a leaking shower. No lift and several flights of stairs, luckily we were on the ground floor.

External phone contact was very confusing and not helpful. Trying to get through to the actual reception was not easy.
