The front desk, the care staff and the restaurant were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the room which had a wonderful view of the gardens.

As a premium hotel in the area holding 4 stars and a high nightly tariff with a minimum stay imposed my expectations were not met. No affiliation with the government vouchers surprised me but didn’t have a further impact. The old tired bathroom, lifting carpet, uncomfortable bed and mouldy bathroom overlooking rubbish bins didn’t represent a king room with a random single bed in replacement of a chair to sit on. We were moved to a newer wing as requested, which in comparison was significantly better but a far cry from a Accor forecasted experience. Bathroom you could hardly turn around in.The hotel staff were young and very inexperienced and offered poor service. Gin and tonic served in a soft drink glass,no garnish full of ice. Strange. The breakfast offering was average at best. The pot holes at the entrance are shocking and unimaginable even with the rain to not be filled. The pool table nets in the holes were broken through and the balls have no where to go. A very embarrassing property for Accor. Clear the income is weighted on weddings as no one would Tolerate a stay such as this at this property. I wasn’t a wedding guest but I’d definitely never return.

We bought the voucher through golf network. It was clearly says we got $65 per head if we had set 4 courses menu at the restaurant but they said they could not do it. They said what is on the voucher list is wrong. They are no longer offering that. On top of the disappointment they gave us the wrong room too even we called a few times and reception said we definitely had a balcony room in confirmation. We had booked a balcony room. They gave us a room with a public balcony ( balcony sharing with the office) when we complained the management and the reception who were not apologised but they said that was a right balcony. It was a terrible getaway weekend!

Fine, met expectations

Let me start by staying this place was just lovely and felt like home! The staff are amazing!!! We stayed for a wedding weekend, and needed the room serviced for photos they came straight up and serviced it, the wedding crew were taken care of and was just amazing! We have a group of 6 kids just running a muck but staff are so friendly they just accomodation led us so well. On our last morning we had forgotten behind a sleep comforter toy, I called the receptionist and asked if she would be able to go up to the room, as I knew exactly where it was and she did! Found the toy and kept it aside for us to pick up, they did offer to mail but we declined due to things getting lost and postage timing. We definitely would stay again!

We had our annual conference with the executive staff from my school at Pepper’s Craigieburn. I have been bringing staff here for more than ten years because we are always so well looked after, the environment is stunning and the food is amazing. This time was no exception and it allowed us to be incredibly productive.

Short stay at Peppers for a function. A historic and beautiful building which I would imagine needs plenty of upkeep and this is evident in some areas. The function room was set up beautifully and the bar and lounge areas are a welcome addition with working fireplaces and comfortable lounges on a cold day. Staff working the function get a gold star, bar staff another. Breakfast was excellent and fresh, with many choices. I know pot holes are evident in every road in NSW Since all the rain but please get something in those holes at the entrance before someone looses and axle.

When we arrived the wait at reception was 20 mins as there were two wedding parties booking in and only one person on reception . Our accomodation for one night was on the second level and up two flights of stairs and no lift. As my husband had emergency surgery on his shoulder for the removal of a melanoma the day before it was impossible to get suitcases to our room and under the circumstances cancelled our booking and told no refund . We then rang our accomodation in Canberra, the Mercure to see if we could come a day earlier and they were most accommodating.

Beautiful property and excellent customer service

We often stay at Craigieburn, although we hadn't been there for over a year due to COVID. As always we had a warm welcome from the GM, sparkling wine on arrival and offered a room upgrade. The hotel has warmth, charm and character. The restaurant meals were superb and we love sitting in the bar/lounge area next to the open fires. Our room had beautiful views over the share large balcony and golf course. The customer service is outstanding and we have always felt very welcomed. We look forward to our next stay.
