We paid $360 for one night on Valentine’s Day. We were not told the restaurant was full and the hotel not offering room service. Most of the restaurants in town were booked out. The ribs were so rundown with worn carpets, leaky taps and corroded bathroom fittings. The main house is a magnificent heritage building but it has been let rundown. The whole place doesn’t look like it’s had any attention since the 1980s. Very poor value for money and definitely not Peppers’ standard

I can see that our team made contact with you prior to arrival and noted that you were attending a concert. These pre arrival calls are made to ensure our in house guests have every opportunity to secure dining reservations and enjoy a well planned and rounded experience during their stay. I regret that despite this, your overall experience fell short and for this I sincerely apologise. As a heritage property, Craigieburn reflects the character and room proportions of its original era, however we recognise the need for renewal and can share that we have engaged with design team to enhance our planned upgrades and align them with guest expectations. We appreciate you taking the time to provide honest feedback, it genuinely helps guide our improvement journey. The breakfast and staff were excellent but the room was to small for a king size bed and only had one chair for two people and no table that you can sit at and look at your computer the stairs were a challenge

Wife got sick from the dinner

To be charging clients the rate of $379.00 per night with a room of creaky floors, unlevel flooring in room and no soap in soap dispenser in shower is not acceptable.
