We paid $360 for one night on Valentine’s Day. We were not told the restaurant was full and the hotel not offering room service. Most of the restaurants in town were booked out. The ribs were so rundown with worn carpets, leaky taps and corroded bathroom fittings. The main house is a magnificent heritage building but it has been let rundown. The whole place doesn’t look like it’s had any attention since the 1980s. Very poor value for money and definitely not Peppers’ standard

The breakfast and staff were excellent but the room was to small for a king size bed and only had one chair for two people and no table that you can sit at and look at your computer the stairs were a challenge

To be charging clients the rate of $379.00 per night with a room of creaky floors, unlevel flooring in room and no soap in soap dispenser in shower is not acceptable.
