This is an old hotel set in the beautiful countryside of the southern highlands. The hotel is definitely old, almost a hundred years old to be exact, but has an amazing charm and elegance that we enjoyed. The gardens are captivating and the buildings are from times gone by. They probably need some refurbish but need to keep their history. The staff were friendly and amazing and could not do enough for us. We will definitely return

We stayed for 2 nights and was upgraded to the Elms Wing room on first floor at the corner with beautiful view of the garden. While the hotel is a bit aged, as expected, but the bath room has been renovated and service is excellent. We had dinner the first night and breakfast on third morning and both food quality and quantity are acceptable at that price range. Keep UP the excellent work in maintaining this hotel and we will definitely be back in 2025.

Very warm welcome and communication throughout the stay with the wonderful manager. I was enjoying my stay so much I booked a second night. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay. The manager handled a matter regarding the food service brilliantly. I had a lovely dinner Sunday night with beautiful views and friendly service (the chilli prawns are amazing!). The bed and pillows are great. Views and architecture are glorious - reminiscent of a bygone era and an oasis from the busy life.

Did not live up to the Peppers experience. Gardens need attention, room was incredibly small, there was a bug on the bathroom floor upon check in. Bed and pillows not comfortable. Needs massive upgrade. Didn't feel clean.
