The Mercure Gerrigong is very tired. Needs updating. Broken pavers and mildew on shared wall on outside area from our room. Room has terrible smell and worse when air con was put on so had to keep it off. The breakfast was great. But overall our stay of three nights was way overpriced. It was supposed to be a special stay for my husbands birthday but he was disappointed in the place too.

The venue itself was lovely, the facilities clean and the staff incredibly friendly, and the room was very spacious. We loved the restaurant with its happy hour and live music, which added to the atmosphere. On the minus side, the walls were somewhat thinner than expected, so the kid and parent playing next door in the early hours of each morning were very audible and distracting. Rather than a coffee table, the room would have benefitted from a higher table and 2-3 chairs, which would have made it easier to play board games.

Had a one night visit. I arrived late and received a call and text with clear late check in instructions. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall I had a really good experience.

Please, change the filthy carpets for vinyl floors. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
