An upgrade at check-in was an incredible blessing! Room and location was brilliant. Dinners were great both nights. The new restaurant manager is terrific. Knowledgeable about flavor profiles as a chef previously and very happy to join in a chat and laugh!

Was told all upstairs rooms had water views. Water glimpses are not water views. Lounge uncomfortable, very basic room for highest price of our trip. Restaurant overpriced, food was substandard and described to us as fish and stuff by the staff. The bed was clean and comfortable. Everything just felt very basic, would not recommend staying for the price and would tell everyone to avoid restaurant.

Loved my daily breakfast although the bacon was cold - bed was a very comfortable king size - view was good out over the pool but a pity the restaurant wasn’t open on Wednesday night

I rang the Accor booking line attempting to book rooms at Mercure Gerringong. When asking what city I wanted to book in the ( heavily American accented ) AI bot couldn’t recognise Gerringong as a location and kept calling me Jerry and asking what city or town I wanted to book a hotel in.When I found a local number and was able to get through the staff were super helpful in booking adjoining rooms for our group on short notice.
