found everything we needed, it was clean and roomy, only issue was it was a bit far from town and the beach and there was a moth infestation when we got there and they somehow got in our room and were very noisy

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Gerringong. We were in the area for a wedding elsewhere and are so glad we chose to stay here! The facilities were fantastic, with a beautiful big pool, very clean rooms, and thoughtful touches like the microwave and small kitchenette. The location is great, an easy 8ish minute walk to the beach and other local attractions. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Happy Hour was a favorite and such a lovely way to start our little getaway. The food was fantastic - the steak at dinner was genuinely one of the best we’ve ever had, and breakfast was fresh with plenty of options. Mercure Gerringong has definitely been one of our favorite stays, and we’d happily return!

Thank you so much for a great weekend away. The upgrade and bottle of sparkling wine was very much appreciated to celebrate my husbands 60th. It was such a lovely surprise. We had a great night sleep. We didn’t hear anyone else even though the motel was full. Breakfast was a lovely way to start the morning.

I would like to advise that our stay at the Mercure had started great as we were greeted with your receptionist and she was extremely friendly, helpful and went out of her way to bring towels to the pool. However one downfall I broke out with itchi bites on my legs, arms, neck, some on my stomach but mainly my back as I have been treating with an antibacterial, antifungal cream and allergy tablets. I feel either there was bed bugs, however I do feell this resulted from my time in the pool. The pool did have leaves and wasn’t clean and my husband did make that comment to me, he said “I am not coming in, the pool doesn’t look clean, and as there was construction going on, could have been dust all around but the trees were all very dried out and I had spent some time out by the pool and swimming, so while it was nice, that was my only downfall. I use Accor for a lot of my stays, however this is my second time in many years I have returned to Gerringong and stayed at the Mercure and I just think alot of the interior rooms need refreshing, the carpet especially is very outdated

all in all good stay, balcony nice, but were told pool was heated which was a lie, and only 1 face washer provided for a room with 2 people and could accommadate 4
