This was a return trip to the Sebel and we had expectations that weren't met. As the restaurant was closed Tuesday (not noted in our confirmation) we purchased food to reheat for dinner. The first room we were offered didn't have a microwave so we were moved to a room with a kitchenette. The room we stayed in was dated particularly the bathroom fittings. The decor was miss matched and very scant, not luxe in anyway. The matching 2 seater sofas were extremely uncomfortable. I had to stay on the bed for comfort (back) for the duration of our stay. We had a view across the road to scaffolding and workmen so we kept the curtains (fine fabric) closed. We went to breakfast at 8 am and whilst the bain maries were covered in condensation the food was luke warm at best. We didn't go back the next day which was disappointing because the view was amazing and we enjoyed the space. The staff were all very pleasant and Josie (front desk) helped out a lot with information that isn't in any commentary but would definitely help with choices when booking accommodation. Overall, I was disappointed with the accommodation and the breakfast. I felt the accommodation was the equivalent of an Airbnb not a luxury hotel.

We stay at this property regularly this time we had friends from Perth with us so we booked the 2bdrm. It was very underwhelming, we know there is no view but the room itself had no thought for its layout. It’s dark, the second bedroom had nowhere to hang clothes, no mirror, not a properly door, they were frosted glass sliders. Fine for a family but not 4 adults. The bathrooms are basic which is fine but our tap wasn’t even fixed , it just spun around each time you had to use it.
