I recently stayed here with my partner and our 7 month old. Upon checking in I was immediately disappointed by the state of the room. Within 10 minutes, my daughter had found an ornamental pin on the floor, which had clearly been left by a family staying prior to us and not removed by housekeeping. The room was incredibly dusty and there were bugs throughout the room, but specifically in the sliding door tracks. The ‘blockout blinds’ were useless as they had various holes. The bath tub didn’t have a plug, the sink was cracked and the bar fridge leaked water throughout which ruined a lot of our food. The restaurant is incredibly overpriced for what it was. The food was average and you could easily find better food for cheaper. Parking is also a huge problem. Parks aren’t allocated and there are not enough car parks for rooms. Many people, include ourselves were forced to park some distance away or mount the curb and park in incredibly inconvenient ways. If you can stay elsewhere I absolutely would.

Food terrible, 4 days without cleaning room after continually calling reception and being advised it will be done ASAP. We are platinum Accor members and this experience has influenced us to cease being members. The care factor of staff is zero. Also, the parking on site is pathetic, only enough spots to cater for about 20% of rooms.

Pros- availability for last minute stay. Reception was friendly and helpful. Cons- room had not been cleaned properly. There was sand still on the floor. Long waits to order and receive food. Table service non existent. No clearing up plates. No asking was the food satisfactory. Overpriced meals and some food had clearly been sitting for hours. One meal was inedible. Rubbish left around the resort overnight, especially near the movie tent. No supervision of watercraft area. Yes it was busy Xmas period but the service did not match the prices charged for accommodation. Staff looked like they didn't want to be there. I paid for the stay as a Christmas gift for my family. How embarrassing for me and for Novotel.

Disappointed. Over all the room was standard. The grounds amazing. however as a solo female traveler, I was put in a room the furthest from reception and main parts of resort. There was only 1 medium size pool. As I was there for Christmas, it was so full. If you wanted to swim with no crowds, had to be at 0700hrs and snag a lounger. One restaurant, with limited menu, or expensive buffet meal. the worst was 15% surcharge over the Christmas few days. For those of us without transport, means you were stuck at the resort.

Rooms are terrible , air condition was not good, rooms need a lot of maintaince . So does the whole resort. I wont be back
