Overall it was a good stay at the hotel. We checked in at around 11:00pm which went smoothly, but we were just handed our keys and I would've appreciated a bit more information about my stay (for example what time breakfast is, when to checkout, etc.) but not a big deal. The breakfast was really nice with a wide selection of things. There were small issues with the room's sink and shower leaking a bit when in use, but I reported it to reception when checking out and they made a note of it. One other minor thing is that in the first paragraph of the description of ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Barajas it says that you can "play Arcade or Flipper, open 24/7". It turns out the pinball machine was Ridley Scott's 'Alien' themed which was cool, but unfortunately it was out of service, which I only found out about after asking reception if I was doing something wrong. This wouldn't have really bothered me if it weren't one of the first features listed on their own website. If and when they do get the pinball machine up and running again, they said it's free to play, so that'd be cool.
