Whenever I need to stay close to the airport I go to this hotel. It is good, and comfortable, it has a good restaurant and the staff is friendly. However, this time I got the room 137 and the bed had bed bugs!!! I saw 3 crowding inside the bed, it was disgusting. The staff moved me to a different room but after seeing that I couldn't really have a good stay. Bedbugs get inside the mattress and the bed so fumigation is essential. I sent the photos to the hotel so I hope they do sth in that room because the bedbugs will stay in the mattress and hide etc. so, don't stay in room 137. Other than that the hotel is good. I was very surprised and shocked by the bedbugs because as I said before I have stayed here a couple of times before, but now I will think about it twice.

I would like to clarify that bed bugs are not related to cleanliness or hygiene but are often brought in through travelers' luggage from external locations. Nonetheless, we take such matters extremely seriously and have acted immediately to resolve the issue. The affected room, as well as the room you occupied afterward, have been taken out of service and professionally fumigated to ensure complete eradication of the problem. Additionally, we have conducted a thorough inspection of surrounding areas as a precautionary measure. We truly value your understanding and patience in this matter. Please know that we are committed to maintaining the highest standards for our guests and will continue to take all necessary steps to prevent any recurrence of this issue. Very nice hotel very close to the airport. Pleasant greeting and explained facilities. Third floor room was spotless and, as per web site appeared recently refurbished. The room was compact but adequately appointed with nice touches like USB charging and ample sockets. Nice bathroom with large shower and hairdryer/shaver point. Supplied with toiletries. Television has European news channels and local main channels. Metal shelves, clothing rail and bed table a little rickety and needed some paper under to stop unstable movement, but otherwise an ideal short stay. The facilities overall were good, with a coffee bar and restaurant area. Large TV in lounge area with gaming machines. Left luggage lockers from €4 which we used on our last day to venture back into Madrid before our evening flight. Walkable to the airport and Metro about 400 metres away. Also a bus stop outside. Always a taxi sitting outside. McDonald's 100 metres. Coffee/cafeteria across the road. Quiet inside the room. Rooms serviced on request only, but everything, including new bedding is done. No complaints, and ideal place and reasonable price.

I have chosen this hotel because of the convenince to be close to the Madrid airport (by Taxi or Metro). However, to Madrid centre the distance is a bit far. They have also a nice restaurant. Staff is friendly and very helpful to provide a good service. This time a I have received a very nice room above the usual IBIS standard. Thank you very much!
