Having read the negatives reviews I was worried about booking, but mostly it was great. We stayed 4 nights visiting family, the check in process was quick, the staff were very efficient and helpful. The air con in the rooms is turned off so only worked as heating!! It was cold enough outside to have the benefit of cooling the room down with the window open (it would definitely concern me during a warm spring, if it’s still not on). The beds are comfy, the shower powerful and the rooms pretty quiet. Breakfast is okay (and we will definitely eat breakfast out locally next time). It’s a lot of sugar, sweetened yoghurt, cakes, pastries, there is cold meats and cheese and a choice of bread. The bacon, eggs and sausages stored in large pots had all gone cold (and we weren’t that late to breakfast). When we stayed there was a large event on locally and we couldn’t actually get into breakfast (we would have had to queue for ages) as it was so full of people arriving and paying for breakfast (them not having pre-booked) so it was chaos. We were able to get a refund for breakfast that day no problem. I think they have definitely sorted their initial staffing issues (the staff were excellent), we would stay again, but we wouldn’t book breakfast (eat locally or at the airport).

The hotel is located close to many conveniences such as supermarkets, stations and restaurants. Its very clean and comfortable. However the reception staff and some restaurant staff and not polite and friendly.

My only complaint is that, since there were two rooms and I booked with All Accor, I requested that the rooms be close together, side by side, and this did not happen. We were on the same floor but far apart.
