We spent four nights at the Mercure Compans and were particularly impressed by the enthusiasm of the staff and the breakfast. The room was a decent size for a city hotel and the air conditioning was very effective. The selection at breakfast was good, with a great selection of local products.

Great stay in interconnecting rooms with our family. Hotel is very conveniently located next to a large park and the Metro for getting around or a short walk to the river. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Lovely air con, games area and bar.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The location was central and offered a range of restaurants/pubs/cafés nearby. Excellent cinema near the hotel showing English version of The Odysee. Our son lives nearby and he joined us for your excellent breakfast. We needed a car park - expensive but necessary for us.

Since my event happened at Baudis, the hotels location next to it was excellent. The park with the beautiful Japanese gardens is right next to the Mercure too. The airport shuttle Navarre starts directly outside the hotel, as well as a metro station (Compans-Caffarelli) with super markets in it and a bus station. By foot it's a 5 minute walk to the university campus and 10 minutes through a shaded street to river Garonne and Place St. Pierre, Pont Neuf etc. My room was quiet with a window towards the roof and office buildings. AC worked well, which was great at 37° heat! The bathtub instead of shower wasn't my 1st choice, but I actually used it twice to bath in lukewarm to cool water after full days in the scorching heat and it was very welcome and refreshing. Breakfast is very good and with lots of choices, though I only booked it once.

We were disappointed several times due to the lack of requested daily cleaning. And several times they did not give us new clean coffee cups. We had to wash them ourselves in the bathroom sink. We also had to grab new towels from the cart because our room hadn’t been serviced upon returning in the late afternoon.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our convenient location and found your room comfortable. Regarding the daily housekeeping service, we would like to clarify that your two reservations, from July 12 to 14 and from July 14 to 19, included a request to decline housekeeping every other day. This explains why your room was not serviced on certain days. We also note that, on July 17, despite this arrangement being in place, our team did service your room. We are sorry that this arrangement was maybe not properly explained upon check-in in. We also would like to apologize for the coffee cups and towels replacement We understand how important it is to return to a room that has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and we regret that you had to take care of these items yourself. Additionally, breakfast is something we are very proud of, having won the French Best Breakfast competition twice. Nevertheless, we fully appreciate your comments regarding the scrambled eggs, the egg-cooking station, the selection of fresh vegetables and the location of the cold milk. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continue to improve both our products and the overall breakfast experience.
