I am an English speaker who came to this hotel for a conference. Not knowing English was not an issue as everyone had some level of proficiency as well as understanding. Staff were respectful, location was really nice as it is a short 20 min walk to the city center as well as a really nice park outside the hotel. The issues: No air conditioning or any ventalstion system really made the room stale and smell bad. Had to purchase air fresheners. Staff was neglectful of needs, no ironing table was available, no fan to help with the staleness and choked atmosphere. Booking taxis and information along with breakfast and dinner were great. The room size is great, good TV, good washroom. Big issue —> the bed. Not cleaned properly and not replaced the sheets, room wasn’t cleaned enough and not on rotation. By the third night my entire body was covered in bed bug bites, and couldn’t sleep. In retrospect, if bed bugs weren’t an issue, this experience would be given a 6-7 with the only main concern being the heat and humidity in the room. However due to the bed bugs, my stay was not optimal and can’t be rated more than a 5

Ideal location, North of the city next to the Japanese gardens. Only a short walk into town. Clean, quiet and great staff. 2 breakfast options 19 or 9 euro although there is an outstanding boulangerie just opposite the main park gates with pastries, sandwiches and salads to die for. Only negative is poor quality built in hairdryer in bathrooms. Nor suitable for thos with long hair (Try borrow a proper one from reception or maids - we did, but they need access to more)

Firstly I would like to mention that all the staff without exception were most helpful and charming. A big asset for your hotel! A few remarks: I found the floor in the breakfast room not clean in the morning, the decoration (furniture) in the lobby and breakfast room is very cold and does not motivate to stay (particularly the bar area), I believe the 'reception desk' could be a bit more substantial. That area - as mentioned - is all in all not really inviting. Also there should be more, but smaller groups of fauteuils to sit, the existing ones are too large, then taken by one family - so we often did not find a place to sit (example wait for a taxi) Room: bed very comfortable, safe could be in a higher position (had to kneel on the ground to open) Would need small cups in the tea area to place tea bags and little wase after use. Towels (a bit worn)
