Well located and comfortable at a reasonable price. A single night stay without breakfast as a stop between rail and air travel. Great hospitality and service at arrival and departure. We will use again if the opportunity arises.

Everything was as required. Easy to walk into city centre and near the metro if required. Staff were helpful. All breakfast items were tasty. Room small-ish but well appointed.

Our stay was fine although we disliked the room. Upon arrival, reception told us we had been upgraded to a suite, which sounded nice. But it wasn’t. Room 216 requires guests to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, walk up about 8 steps, down a hall, then down a flight of stairs, all while carrying bags. The room has almost no natural light. When we opened the windows, we found them covered in plastic due to construction outside. We like to sleep with fresh air. It felt stuffy and the room needed airing instead of the room spray we smelled upon entering. We asked to change back to a regular room but the hotel was full. So we stayed in our unpleasant “upgrade.” On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the breakfast tasty and plentiful, and the morning staff particularly friendly. Just don’t call it an upgrade and send clients to a dark, smelly suite…

Everything thing was great. The only reason I'm giving a 8 is because the room was very noisy at night due to the street downstairs and we couldn't see through the windows.

The stay was good overall because Toulouse is a fantastic city and the hotel location is very central and convenient. Yet, there were quite a number of minor annoying things in the hotel itself that gave me a lesser impression. The most important one is the renovation works: my room was at the streetside not in the complex of the facade of the hotel itself, but in the one next to it. They are renovating, there is large scaffolding in front of the facade, and workers on these scaffolds from 8am onwards! With big hammer blows throughout the day (incredibly noisy), and waste being thrown dawn a shaft into a container from 8am onwards, don't hope to get any sleep in after 8am... but don't open the curtains either because there are workers on the scaffolds... In any case, the streetside facing rooms don't have a view on the street, but only on the scaffolding. And then, even at the night you will not rest undisturbed, because the windows are terribly isolated (single layer glass, I can only assume) so that THE ENTIRE NIGHT there are voices, screams, discussions, ... clearly audible directly from the street (so clear that often one can actually follow and understand the entire conversation). It does not help that this street seems to be a focal point for nightlife as well as for a large selection of homeless people, which is is a guarantee for a continuous stream of noise all through the night. Also steps from the floor above were VERY loud, and the doors of other rooms that make an enormously loud sound when they close / fall shut (it might seem that I am just sensitive to sound in general, but this is not really true: this situation was really FAR beyond that in many other hotels that I have stayed in). Besides this, I should mention that finding the room was also quite a challenge: elevator to the second floor, a long corridor with multiple turns, then another door, down the stairs again (impossible to get there with the elevator), and then you arrive... Quite a maze (I presume because the adjacent building has been recently incorporated into the hotel complex). And getting back to the reception is not clear either because there is no signage how to return to the reception - which actually led me to take a wrong way (going down instead of up (!)) and arrive in an isolated entrance hall of the adjacent building, where LUCKILY the door to the street was unlocked, otherwise I would have been trapped there, because the door fell shut behind me without possibility of return. Other irritating points: I had a suite, but the bed was... almost too short... I am 1m80, which is not very tall, but with my head against the top edge, my feet still surpassed the matrass. Quite strange - luckily I was alone and so could sleep diagonally in the 2-person bed. One morning I slept Iate, and the room was not cleaned - but there was also not message that I could get it cleaned by contacting reception - which would be usual procedure in any other hotel chain... So simply no one made the room that day. Toothpaste is provided (nice!) but I don't know where the package came from, because the paste was stone hard and thus unusable. Finally, the "gym" is a joke - there is nothing there, just don't consider this to be gym. Good points: very friendly staff, very nice (small, but very decent) breakfast buffet, great location overall. This could be a very good hotel, some of the issues that I mentioned above are quite easy to mend, so I hope that the hotel will improve over time on this points because it has a lot of potential. I am not sure how long they have been open, but on the Uber app it is still listed as a Best Western hotel, so I assume that it changed to an ALL / Handwritten property quite recently.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to the centre, with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful finishings and design. Conveniently the airport bus stop is just outside. Great coffee machine. We booked a room late and got a ground floor room, but even so, it was a good stay.

Check into hotel , have reserved a superior double city view. Am sent to the room which is about 3 ft above the street level and everybody on the street can both see me and I can hear everything being said. After about 15 minutes, head to front desk, ask to change rooms.. Clerk is visibly annoyed: “ You’ve used the room and I have no staff no clean it! Also, I only have ver6 small room available” Ok, fine.. Have to close drapes completely all day and night, streetlight is literally lighting my entire room, guys have loud conversation for much of the night directly outside our room. People in the hotel have a loud conversation in the hallway directly outside our door. Bar that is touted in pictures is very small and doubles as front desk. To be fair, staff the next day was much better, but the room issues remained. Not a true boutique hotel, not great service and not inexpensive. All in all a hotel to avoid.
