Breakfast was OK. The staff were very welcoming but they were confused about breakfast being included with the booking and asked for breakfast money twice. Room 106 was very noisy. Location is very good.

The hotel is listed as 4 stars but the reality was different. The room was cold (one small wall heater, no heating in bathroom) and was in 1970s style. Pepe at reception (which is actually also the bar) was very welcoming. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. There was no shampoo in the shower and no rack for a bag. When we asked the maid the provide this, she said to put the bag in the wardrobe, but the wardrobe could barely accommodate a jacket and pair of trousers let alone a suitcase. The tiny sofa (actually the pull out bed) was fixed in a position facing away from the TV, so the only option was to sit on a hard plastic chair in the corner. This is not 4 star at all. Breakfast was OK.

Loved the experience of staying in this hotel. It was beautifully decorated and I especially appreciated the musical theme of the hotel : 1980s Manchester music !
