I don't usually write reviews, but my experience was so above and beyond if felt it necessary. My wife arrived to the hotel by taxi from the airport. I was waiting in line to check in when she noticed we left our backpacks in the taxi. The same backpacks that had our passports and immigration paperwork. Neither of us speak French and we were freaking out. The woman at the front desk and the hotel manager looked at my cab receipt and started searching everywhere for the driver. They called the airport, all of the companies that frequently operate out of the airport, and anyone else they could find. The hotel manager even offered to come with us to a pharmacy to help my wife replace prescriptions that were in her bag, but that wasn't needed because they were actually able to locate the driver and a couple hours later I had my bags back! They didn't have to do all this for a couple of idiots that couldn't keep track of their belongings, but they did, and I couldn't be more grateful. Even when not factoring in the terrific customer service I would still recommend this hotel. It's close to the RER A and the rooms were a decent size and clean.

The hotel provided most of what we needed for our stay. Other than room temperature it was fine. The breakfast was suitable. Reception was efficient and friendly.

Despite being an Accor Silver member, no welcome and membership not even acknowledged. Rooms booked were not available at check in (7pm).... Alternate configuration or room on a smoking floor was all that was available. Restaurant did not have the chosen meal at 7:30pm and no feasible alternate available. Joked with staff that not the best impression and the response was they like to maintain a similar standard in all areas. No ability to control the temperature in the room either so slept with window open next to the motorway. Only stay here if you absolutely have to.

Zero acknowledgement of being Accor silver member . No welcome benefits offered . On check in told hotel full and room booked not available . Offered alternate twin configuration or room in smoking floor. Take it or leave it approach. Went to restaurant colleague and I ordered and told our choices not available ( at 7.30 !!!) . When joked that given room issue and now limited choice in restaurant hotel not presenting well , staff responded that they do best to keep poor standards across all departments !!!!! . Breakfast , dirty tables no staff to be seen and variety available underwhelming. Also externally vans of gendarmes at the entrance drive is never a welcoming look !!!

Cigarette smoking room when we asked for non-.smoking, this is unacceptable with 2 kids, missing blankets, no pillow, took over 1 hr to get them, broken fridge broken hair dryer, took 45 minutes for someone to open the garage at night, got yelled out at the restaurant because I asked for a tray to bring food to my sick daughter, they didn't tell us the time for breakfast, we paid and showed up in the morning to find a close restaurant, we got woken up by a barking dog at 6am, they didn't clean the room until 5 pm when we asked them at 8am etc etc etc....

First impression of the hotel was good, very nice reception, however when going up to the room the corridor had lots of empty glasses, bottles, and pizza boxes all over the floor (including outside of our room 414). It looks like the cleaner had left these to be collected, however by this point it was 9pm. The next morning it looked like the cleaners were doing rooms on the same corridor but the empty/glasses still remained from the night before. Our room also had lots of bits on the floor, making it look like it had been poorly cleaned. Both of these things gave a very poor impression of the hotel and weren't really acceptable from a hotel of this price. On the plus side the beds were very comfy.

I would generally describe Novotel network in Paris as the worst Accor group properties I've stayed at, but this one is definitely the worst (of the worst). I've had to cancel my reservation after first night and move to the nearby Holiday Inn where I received proper welcome and better room despite lower room-rate and my modest status comparing to ALL Platinum that was completely and deliberately ignored by Novotel Marne-la-Vallée staff. 1. I've been met by reception staff in a dirty coat. So dirty it was actually disgusting to the level that I wouldn't even excuse for a cheap hostel. 2. This is not the first time I had to ask for the Platinum status benefits in Novotel in Paris, but the reception I received in your hotel this time was really special - first of all I was told that the hotel manager has ordered not to upgrade any LCAH members independent of their status and room availability as it was badly affecting his revenue. After some additional requests I was able to receive a welcome drink voucher however a welcome amenity wasn't offered or left in my room. Unfortunately the reception person never heard that word and couldn't explain why. 3. The room I booked ("superior double") was below all possible standards even comparing to other similarly priced/starred hotels of Novotel chain in Paris. Even if there's no availability to upgrade, all other Accorhotel I have stayed around the world at least try to provide a nicer room according to my preferences. This is not the case with Novotel Marne-la-Vallée. The room I was provided was dirty and tired, facing the noisiest possible side / the highway, low floor and as I learned in the morning (8am) there were drilling works right next to it. 4. Other room and hotel "features" I decided not to enjoy and leave as soon as possible were: - -heating was absolutely inadequate and couldn't be turned off but that was the problem for all hotel guests it seems as I met groups of people at the reception asking about the same. -the first time a hotel wifi was absolutely unusable during my numerous stays at Accorhotels - you can connect to the network but it drops in 1-2 minutes on all devices. - the breakfast was good and in line with other Novotels in Paris and this where you earn the only point out of 10.

Easily accessible with great links to Disney and Paris. Basic room with required facilities. Restaurant service for breakfast was inconsistent. Some good days and some bad. Some days offered omelettes and fried eggs, other days not. Bacon was there some days and not others. Lack of preparation for key rush times with having to wait 1 day up to 20 minutes. No restaurant facilities for evening meals. Had to find alternatives in the area. Helpful reception staff that were knowledgable. Non smoking rooms where people would still smoke in their rooms. I complained this was happening, but nothing was done. Many times we returned to our room and it smelt of cigarette smoke which was not ideal.

Most of the staff - especially at the reception - were really nice and helpful. Our room (upgraded to Executive Room) was nice and clean. However, some details lacked. If there is a Nespresso in the room, I would expect there to be more than 2 capsules for two guests (at least I am used to at least 4 at AccorHotels). We left a note for housekeeping after the first night, and got at least one more for the second night. Breakfast on the first morning was pretty understaffed and though we went there pretty early, a lot of buffet items including baguette were not present and it took a long time to bring more (at least 30 minutes). The second morning, more staff was present, but still lots of items were out though we were early. Normally, that is better at Novotel in my experience. I did not receive my welcome present at check-in and the welcome drink was good only for me instead of me and my wife (as I know it from previous stays). I had the feeling not everybody knew how this was meant to be. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for the nights, but the details leave room for improvement.

The hotel was ok for a 3 days business stay in Paris and the location was fine with the RER not too far and a nearby shopping centre. In terms of comfort, it did not really feel like a Novotel. Quite tired, needs some up keep, the gym is really basic and does not work just with the key but someone from reception needs to open. The Ibis next door looked in better condition and the restaurant was fine too. Overall nothing special and need to try a bit harder if they charge as more upmarket

Booked online was only given 1 option. Superior family room with 2nd room at 50% discount. (No choice to just select 1 room despite only needing 1 room). Paid by credit card. Arrived and explained to concierge I did not need the second room. Please take and give to someone else as I wouldn't be letting my 10 & 11 yr old children have their own room. I was told I "should have paid attention when I made the booking". I was offering the room back (even after paid for it). I was then told I hadnt paid for ANY room. So at this point ok I should have been able to just book the 1 room. No. Given 2 cards. We leave reception go upto the 8th floor. Lift opens and the stench of cigarette smoke!!! They had put us in the smoking section!!! A non smoker and 3 children. After 3 times returning to the reception with the door card not working and 3 tired children i asked if i could buy a soft drink. I was told no. Go to the vending machine in the lobby. I then asked for some plastic cups as the room despite being for 4 guest only had 2 paper cups and 2 bottles of water. The staff member handed me 4 plastic cups then asked me "am i giving my children alcohol?!" Absolutely appaulled i stated NO THERE ARE ONLY 2 CUPS IN THE ROOM AND 4 OF US! I paid for parking in advance yet every time we left the hotel I had to pay again and again. On checking out I am now explaining to another staff member the 2nd room wasnt touched. The staff then called up to the cleaning service to check if we had used the room. Obviously they confirmed we hadnt. At this point they agree to not charge me for the second room but added on breakfast, parking and whatever else. I explained again that I had already paid in advance by credit card. But they insisted I hadnt. I then had to pay with another debit card €358 to cover the stay and breakfast, parking. I return home to england and finally manage to check my credit card statement which clearly shows my full payment in advance for the rooms and services. So now I have been charged almost £700 for 2 nights and 2 rooms. 1 of which wasnt even used or needed. Had to sleep in a room that stunk of cigarettes. I am asthmatic and now have to claim back one of my charges they insisted I hadn't paid.

breakfast with very little staff, no spoon, no cup, no clean table room service has to be paid immediately but no payment tool was brought by the person, so i was asked to come down to pay...so it was a new concept for room service :-) lunch was slow service but good food room was nice and not noisy at all

The room was very clean and of a reasonable size. The kingsize bed was from my perspective too soft. Beside 35 French tv channels they had also 4 English shows (movie and series). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a swimming pool (15 meters) and a gym.

Now for the Hotel! While the rooms where clean, the third bed was not at all comfortable, more importantly they had turned the Aircon OFF! And only had a limited number of electric fans available. The staff were dismissive and at times rude, the final straw was the plaster falling off the ceiling narrowly missing two children in our party…the staff walked over, shrugged and walked off! 1. very outdated and dirty 2. staff have no manners (no one ever greets customers. Instead they stare you in the face) 3. room was not cleaned for the 3-4 days we were there. (only bed was done, bins were emptied and towels were changed). In a nutshell, just the minimum 4. no AC. It's the 1st hotel to have a 4 star in my experience that does not have an AC!! I am not sure how you got a 4 star because I would classify you as a 1 or 2 star. I am extremely disappointed and will not book with Novotel again nor will i recommend anyone to book with novotel
