Water from sink faucet smelled like sewage, space generally felt dirty, unclear whether bottle to film water was ever washed, cracked glass in lobby, murky pool water, insulation just laying on driveway from side of the building.

Novotel NleG was a bit of a let down to the photos. We were there for five days and I found that the staff were nice and well meaning but not exceptionally trained and I felt it lacked some of the usual charm and style that Novotel provides its customers. I did not feel like my Platinum status was valued. The level of service was more 2 star (not because staff were incompetent) but more because they were untrained.

Being that we paid half board, we were not expecting the same menu with very little variety every night. We ended up eating out the last 2 evenings just to have a decent meal. Breakfast was okay however the fact we could not access any coffee from the machines in the day was very poor when paying for the highest availability. This should be complimentary. Also no clear instructions from checking in on needing a card for dining with a limit of what we can have so was charged in the first evening extra. No emglish channels despite the QR code in the room showing that there was multi lingual channels available. Overall not the best experience - especially when someone had managed to get in the rpof and was running outside out hotel window at midnight!!! Very scary!

I’ve stayed a lot at Novotel before and have come to expect a certain minimum level of service from Novotel. However, this stay was an exception. The housekeeping was sub-par. The bedding was done. However I had to follow up multiple times, including going to the reception twice just to get the new coffee cups and coffee/tea. Even the next day the cups that were replaced weren’t really clean. One of the lifts wasn’t working for 3 days. Overall it was disappointing.

We had a very pleasant stay as a family. The room was comfortable, though a bit on the smaller side, but still manageable for us. The breakfast was good, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We also appreciated the water dispensers available on every floor, although having complimentary water bottles in the room would make the experience even better.

Our stay was comfortable, only one thing we had faced is the Chiller/Small fridge was not working, and when requested nobody came to check or replace. As we had some medicine and baby food to keep, this was one of our priority. We were given the option to keep with the reception but paying a handsome amount having the facility would have been great.

I could give a higher rating. Check it was a bit slow but went all well. Checked in by friendly receptionist. Why I give it 2rating. We arrived late and the restaurant was closed as you don’t operate over weekends. The restaurant at Ibis we could’ve used but the menu wasn’t what we wanted. So we ordered Uber eats of which took forever to arrive. After arriving with kids hungry and we sitting at the bar/foyer area. Thought let the kids eat. Than this rude security walks its not allowed its not possible. Ok no explanation just rude. So closed up the food, behind us were group of people who had their uber eats take aways. The one guy said they just had theirs so just eat so I said let me not irritate this rude security. I asked the barman he just said sorry Eventually found the duty manager if it was was her excuse because u have a restaurant we cant eat there. Felt like been treated like a dog. At least he could’ve explain in a more decent and friendlier way Absolutely horrible will never use your hotel again
