We often choose this hotel when we visit friends in Lyon. It has secure underground parking and a pleasant bar and restaurant, although we haven’t eaten there because there is a very good Pizza Cosy near by. It is in a very nice neighbourhood with some very good independent shops on Av des Frères Lumière, well worth a stroll. And the Musée Lumière is excellent. The staff members are always very friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious and clean but looking a little tired: I understand that a refurbishment is underway so watch out for that.

The hotel is well located nearby Lyon’s Metro bringing us to the city centre only within a few minutes. The Lumiere Institute is also just 5 mins. away from the hotel. The hotel room was humble, a bit outdated.

One night stay on way to Spain from Britain. Travelling with dogs, so quiet location and spacious room was appreciated. Secure parking also good
