Stayed here with 4 colleagues on a business trip. Friendly and welcoming staff, though they were always on the move. My room was pretty small but had everything I needed. Great shower with full heat and strength control. Sufficient storage for a short stay with tea/coffee facilities and a hairdryer. However the bed was awful. Too small and very uncomfortable. I had very interrupted sleeps every night. My colleagues pain the same of their beds. A real negative. Breakfast was buffet style and was always superbly stocked. A wide variety available to cater for all. No complaints there. And Ingrid on the morning shift is an absolute diamond. Such a lovely kind woman and a friendly face every time.

I have stayed here a few times and it is a good base for being in the city. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. I enjoyed my refurbished room and took advantage of the bar for s drink. At breakfast, there was plenty of choice and the staff are always lovely. My room was clean and well presented. The wi-fi worked well and the bed was comfy.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel for work purposes. I found like the last time the mattress very uncomfortable which caused me very unsettled sleep .

Great hotel, reasonably priced and a stones throw from the bull ring & train station. Rooms were clean although on the smaller side but that wasn’t the end of the world for me as it was just a room to sleep in. 1 other small co plaint would be the pillows provided were quite hard, a option for a softer one would have been appreciated. Other then that a great stay and will definitely go back if I was in Birmingham
