We booked this hotel just for one night stay so we didn't have much expectation from it but hotel did not meet that also. I booked room with king size bed but receptionist gave room with two single beds. He didn't even inform us when we were at reception. We got to know when we entered the room which was disaster from hotel side. When I again went to reception, the person gave common reason like "Hotel is fully booked and there is not other room available apart from the room given to us". I do not understand that how is it possible. I booked specific room weeks ahead and it was non-refundable. I also registered online confirming my arrival but still hotel couldn't keep my room empty. As a Accor gold member, we expect some upgrades when we stay at Novotel but they were not able to keep my desired room. Hotel tried to give me complementary breakfast to compensate but it was not the thing we wanted. The hotel location is good and free parking is plus point but service is not up to the mark.

The overall experience was poor with the drain sewer smell being bad enough to stop me booking in future. I have stayed a number of times and the smell has been there the last 3 times over more than 6 months. The staff a friendly but few in number and servicenis slow. The rooms and hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are good.

I kept calling the receptionist never attends calls or never replies to emails in the night. When I reached the hotel, no one was there at desk for 10 minutes. The receptionist was in the kitchen area. Restaurant has too less breakfast items which were not even cared after served. The dushes were unorganized and tages didn't match. People couldn't figure out which spoons or prongs to use for which dish. Like this the food was getting cross-contaminated. For example: Egg getting mixed up with beans and even bacon due to same spoon or prong used. No chef taking care of organizing this! This is a major feedback because I will never eat something cross mixed up like this.
