An excellent stay at Mercure Strasbourg Centre! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the city centre, making it ideal for exploring Strasbourg. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you to Lolita for the warm welcome and smooth check-in. The breakfast was very good, and the breakfast team deserves special recognition for their friendliness, attentiveness, and excellent service. Check-out was also quick, smooth, and hassle-free. In Strasbourg with friends - their first time. Hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet, and convenient. Very helpful staff. Only thing was my status wasn't mentioned, no welcome gift in my room, and no mention of welcome drinks.

We like the Mercure brand. You pay for what you get but whether you pay for a small, standard or a suite, the overall standard is very good. We are fit and actively retired and like to be in the centre and walk everywhere so easy access (preferably walking distance of up to 45 minutes) from the point of arrival (usually the train station) and back again is an important factor.

Mostly it was great, but as i have informed the reception : the automatic shut-off of the lights was broken. As a result I wasn't able to turn on the lights for more than 30 seconds. The breakfast was ok, maybe you could add another coffee machine, the waiting line was a bit long.

We were moved to another room as the original had an extremely dirty carpet and the shower joints were blackened by lack of maintenance, pretty disgusting. "Lolita" the front desk manager was extremely nice and helpfull and that made our stay so much better

Good location, ok parking. Price charged at the reception 40% more than what I booked through the App (it was 2 rooms with 50% of the 2nd room and breakfast), no mention of breakfast after booking and at check in the service added resulting in increased price. At least breakfast was worth it. Rooms old, not very clean (some hair on the bed), bathroom super small, Nuxe product honey smell not to my taste. The worst was that someone was smoking in the bathroom bellow or above us and all the smoke stink came to our bathroom through the ventilation. This was supposed to be non-smoking hotel. Overall ok for 1 night but I will chose smth else next time.

Regarding your booking, we would simply like to clarify one point: when you choose our ‘Family’ package, additional services, including breakfast, can be added as optional extras. On your arrival, we also checked your booking confirmation together, on which breakfast was not listed as included. You then chose to add it to your stay. We do, however, understand that the presentation of the various options may have been confusing. We are, however, sincerely sorry about the cleanliness of the room and the inconvenience caused by the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the ventilation system. As our establishment is non-smoking, this situation is completely at odds with our standards. We will pay particular attention to this to ensure that such a situation does not happen again. We are nevertheless delighted that you enjoyed our location, our car park and our breakfast. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and to offer you an experience that better meets your expectations. Lolita

Very nice hotel, with an excellent location, with open windows, contemporary furnishings, clean and comfortable. For breakfast, a third option would be welcomed by vegetarians, who need abit more than pastry in the morning. Nice view at the top, with an outdoor patio with lovely flowers. 💐
