The location of the hotel was perfect in downtown. The check in staff were lovely. As for travelling with a toddler and a baby it was not ideal. We booked a premium room with a sofa bed and a cot. You couldn't move in the room. Pushchair had to stay in bathroom overnight and suitcase. No kettle on room to make baby bottle overnight. Wouldn't stay again as it wasn't the right fit for our family.

The staff was very nice. The room is clean. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all. (The sofa beds in other hotels are much better). Most troubling was the breakfast, only one coffee machine was working, it’s always a long line there. The waffle machine and pancake machine are lack of instruction, and staffs were too busy, we can barely catch one to ask.

The shower base was dangerously slippery and on asking for a rubber mat to aid showering , was told one was not available. Water flooded the bathroom floor no matter how we showered. Our room was not cleaned on the second day at all. The bins were not emptied on other days. The towels are so old that they are abrasive on the body. Bedmaking consisted of pulling up the quilt. No flattening out or pulling up the under sheet.

First time in Europe; Liege was our third country stop. The hotel property presented clean. We literally walked off our train and about 500 meters to the hotel; location cannot be beat (although at first we were a bit unsure what appeared to be a vehicle-only entrance was correct). Reception staff were excellent, and the gummy candy is a great touch, along with the coloring sheets for the kids. Room was very clean and worked well for our family of four with two kids, although the beds were positioned in such a way that each bed has a direct line-of-sight with the other bed. We were more than impressed with the city and this hotel - both punch well above their weight class...so much so we wish we would have committed more time here.
