Location was perfect for us and the room was really big with a lovely shower. However, the facilities were old and tired looking. The lift was "clunky" the carpet in the communal areas was a disgrace, it was so dirty. The breakfast was very very basic. The room was hot and stuffy, I had, specifically, booked here because it said that the room temperature was regulated. The parking was quoted as €10 per night and it was, actually, €18. If I had known all of these things in advance I wouldn't have booked. We have stayed in many Accor hotels but this one, I feel, needs a bit of refurbishment. Also, I wish there was more of a bar area as it was lovely and comfortable.

The reception was unable to supply us with a room key card on our arrival, even though we had waited while several guests who had arrived before us had been checked in and supplied with room cards!! We were promised that this problem would be resolved and we would be supplied with room cards, this never happened. We had to get a member of staff to escort us in the lift and open the room to allow us in. Not only was this an inconvenience, but it also took away our independence, having to find and wait for a member of staff to take us to our room every time. It made us feel awkward and embarrassed to be escorted around the hotel by a member of staff. The booking was for three people, but the bathroom was only supplied with towels for two, which ment a trip down to the reception to obtain an additional set and having to taken back to the room by a member of staff again!! I don’t think that the folding bunk bed was made up properly either as it only had a thin blanket and no quilt. Outside the door to the room appeared to be being used as a storage area as there were two bikes and several packs of laminate flooring boards?? Whilst not being directly in our way it did look unsightly and not what I would have expected. We were very disappointed with our stay and have never felt so uncomfortable in hotel, being unable to come and go freely. We would appreciate a refund for the inconvenience.
