I had to phone the reception at 2:30 and 3 AM because the people in the neighboring room (three or four men) were talking loudly and listening to music. The hotel is overall very unpleasant

Nice room, excellent location and nice people in service. Furthermore, lots of sanitary measures have been taken for keeping the place safe. All people in reception speak English as well, and are very kind. They responded all my concerns prior to my arrival via email. In particular, during my stay, a ruled-hair woman in charge of reception helped me a lot in terms French-translation and advices. As a student, I'm very grateful for receiving such great support before and during my stay.

I have picked the hotel because of the location but the stay was rather mediocre, the interiors are tired. The only plus point was the attitude of the reception staff.

Somewhat slow reception. Otherwise a thoroughly wonderful stay. Good clean room and - seeing the location - surprisingly quiet. Very well located for my purpose. I would have liked a bit more information about the area, since this was my very first stay. Lovely breakfast and clearly safe to select from the buffet (I have a food allergy)

We have booked a triple room and got a confirmation, when arrived, no triple room available. At the end, after showing the confirmation, a room became available. The general attitude of the receptionist, Nathalie, was not very professional. She did not care about the mistake as it was the problem of her colleague.

Nice city center hotel

Nice hotel in the inner city of Liege. Close to all major sughtseeing spots. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Nice bars and restaurants directly in front of the hotels. Good breakfast. Opera directly next to the hotel.

hotel was very nice, friendly and very helpful staff, room a little small especially fro storing a bike, but newly renovated and was nice and adequate. Breakfast is worth having. Public car park directly underneath the hotel was ideally positioned for access to the hotel. would recommend staying in this hotel.

I recently stayed four nights at Ibis Liege Centre Opera and noted several improvements. The most important, it seems to me, is an increased respect for clients from staff up to management level. I received prompt attention from the Reception when I expressed dissatisfaction about the way the parking pricing operates for Ibis clients using the parking more than 24 hours. The Director visited me on this matter and we reached a satisfactory agreement. This is a marked improvement compared to the past.

Spent 6 nights for business. Location is very central and handy. The service was excellent. Very good choice and quality for breakfast. However, the hotel is old and should be revamped. Comfortable beds though.

The hotel is well located, however, after midnight we could not enter through the parking directly to the hotel on the first day. On the second day, an automated message in French told something to us, and we guessed that we should show the hotel key, which worked. We had no instructions from the desk and there were no instructions written, therefore, the parking service is not good when it is late (and you need to use the direct entrance). The other aspects are fair.

This hotel, in which I stayed several times, is far from being new but it is attractively priced, is located in the very heart of Liege and has a garage with 24 hours security monitoring. There is however a problem with customer service. All costs for my stay had been paid before I arrived but I was told that, for that reason, I had first to make a deposit of EUR 50.00 to be allowed to telephone from my room. I declined. I then visited the reception and talked to a student (trainee). She told me that she would talk to the manager, what she did. She came back and told me that calling from the reception would be free and that the manager required a EUR 25,00 deposit (credit card reservation). I accepted this offer. Still, I believe that there is something intrinsically wrong for a company to be paid early for hotels to be used in Switzerland and Belgium and then to deny the same client access to the telephone in his room without a prior deposit. I have a silver club Accor membership but it clearly does not give me any credit in the sense of any trust, even for a telephone call... This is a great pity. Also, in the specific situation I faced, a trainee had a better sense of customer service than a full staff, which is probably the most important conclusion.
