Good visit: Central location but no noise. Surprised to see the hotel restaurant being closed on Mondays though

It was an ok stay, the room and shower felt a bit tired and the air conditions wasn’t working, there could probably be more signage to the bar area as that wasnt too apparent . The breakfast was ok.i always stay in mercure in france and this sadly wasnt one of the best- However the staff were absolutely wonderful, couldn’t do enough for you, and are a credit to the company .

For a short trip like 1 or 2 days is okay. The hotel need a good refurbishment is very very old and with a funny smell

Very nice hotel. The courtyard is splendid, breakfast was great, and the room is spacious. Altogether, we paid very little for what we got!

Impossible to regulate the room temp despite 2 claims in the entrance

the hotel was a little difficult to find, however the hotel its self was very nice. clean and tidy. the bathroom was very nice. and the dining area was excellent.

I could hardly sleep because of the smell of cigarette in the room. Also in the morning I realized my phone was almost out of battery because it did not charge : the plugs next to the bed (I tried both sides) didn't work ! In addition, for a 4 stars Accor hotel, it's disappointing the bar/café is closed until 4pm.

The hotel was nicely decorated, the staff was welcoming, the rooms were dated and the window facing the street was not sealed well allowing excess noise to enter the room. The beds were very comfortable and the in-room refrigerator and espresso machine was a nice surprise.

This hotel is a bit old. Breakfast on limit of expected quality of a Mercure. Hotel is ni longer meeting the level of a 4* Mercure.

Our first impression with the Mercure Liege was really good: nice location with parking and garden, a piano in the lobby (makes my husband happy), nice colours in the spacy room, view on the river Meuse… Some small points to be improved: -when booking the room, the hotel mentionned that products from Rituals would be available in the room, but they were not. So better remove this “Rituals” remark from the pricing page. -my husband was not satisfied with the shower, the bath was slippery too. -The breakfast was very good and was served in the beautiful restaurant La Liniere, but I was very surprised to see that the tables were close together and everyone had to walk “zigzag” between the tables to the buffet, passing close by the other guests. We compared this to our last hotel stay in Greece (September 2021) where everyone had to put on thin plastic gloves to serve themselves at the buffet and where the tables were far apart.

Concerning the restaurant, the tables are at 1m50 distances each and we require to wear the mask when the guest are not seated and we require every guest to disinfect their hand before entering. Already at the arrival the room was cold. During the night the heating system failed causing annoying noise and in the morning there was not hot water to take a shower. Not so close located to the main station and centre which it’s a problem with the outrageous taxi shortage in the town

I have stayed at the property in previous years and was generally satisfied. My expectation rose following the Mercure takeover, but found the standard had fallen since my last visit. Understanding that some services were limited by Covid restrictions, but this was no excuse for the several small deficiencies in the room. My subsequent stay at the Mercure Mulhouse was markedly better.

Very good location, close to the city centre. Nice hotel. Staff wes very friendly. Breakfast was up to the expectations, considering the restricts due to Covid19. Nice and clean room, only the mattress felt a little hard. Bathroom was OK as well.
