The hotel looks very well styled and has modern facilities. Upon closer expection, you will find that housekeeping does not make the beds, they do not refill soap or replace the soap bottle with a new one that's next to it, does not even remotely clean under the bed. Reception chews gum while talking to guests. Only upside is the restaurant next to it for the dinner. Exceptional food and service.

I had stayed here several years ago and the change from Mercure to Blooma is a big improvement. Conveniently located on the tram line, the hotel mainly runs back from the street and there was noise or vibration. The trams run every 5 - 7 minutes which makes the railway and centre very accessible. I sleep very well with a very quiet room both internally and externally. The TV system was not working and previous guests had also experienced issues as it was not mounted straight or flat to the wall. Removing the power cable and restarting the intelligent box which controlled the TV resolved the problem. The bathroom is modern, but the shower tray slopes into the corner drain and I found it very slippery. Otherwise, a good stay and I would happily return next time I am in Liege.

Lovely reception staff, polite, pleasant, we were checked in by the trainee who was knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is clean, with modern finishes, the room was big and bright. They have a nice inner garden. As per the location, it is conveniently located, a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. The only drawback was the breakfast, we wish we hadn’t chosen to have the breakfast included. On Saturday morning at 9 there were no pancakes, no scrambled eggs, only some small fruit (apples and pears…nothing in season), store bought orange juice, store bought cakes and waffles (you are in Liege…). We had some boiled eggs with veggies and some cheese. Really disappointed, given that you have a restaurant there. Same story on Sunday morning, but the staff seemed to be a bit better organized. On a positive note, they have coffee grains for the coffee machine.
