On the plus side - the hotel is in a prime position overlooking the port, our room was spacious and comfortable - especially the bed, and the restaurant served excellent food. Most staff were welcoming and helpful, with excellent service in the restaurant. On the negative side - the room wi-fi was awful and on one day unusable. On one night we were woken by loud banging above our room (6401) at 11:30pm, which we learned the next day from staff, was probably the cleaners clearing up the rooftop restaurant above. When calling down to the reception at the time of the disturbance, we were offered earplugs! Also, the swimming pool was offered to local schools for children's swimming instruction. This is a lovely idea, which we would support; however, guests should be compensated, because at the time we wanted to relax and enjoy the pool, this was impossible.

This initiative is very important to us, as it promotes water safety and access to sports activities for young people. We do, however, inform our guests in advance of these scheduled sessions whenever possible. Please note that the pool remains accessible to hotel guests during these times, although we understand that the atmosphere may not be as relaxing as expected and that this may have impacted your experience.
