The vista from the terrace of our room overlooking the old port of Marseille was a highlight of our visit. The Sofitel staff were warm, efficient and helpful. Construction noise was not so welcome - and we did not know of it in advance. But a necessary evil to a much needed upgrade.

Travelling the world , I think this hotel can compare to the very best ( even Asian greatest!). Everything is made to please the guest , all the extra steps are taken . Plenty of attentions from morning to night. Marvellous staff, always ready to help etc The location and the views are amazing. The rooms quiet and very comfy. The food is generous, local and delicious 😋
