I liked the hotel very much, but I feel there should be more restaurant options in the hotel. Also we had to ask for water bottles, cause I have to drink a lot of water, and the concierge said that he wasn't supposed to give us water, but he was going to make an exception this time. Of course, we didn't ask again. It's not a big deal, but I think you should be more courteous to your guests.

When I checked in, I was given a room on the first floor. That was a terrible experience. The floor was not secured, the room was rundown. I couldn’t believe it was part of Sofitel! Upon my request, the front desk gave me a room on the 6th floor. It was day and night difference. After that I have no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are incredibly warm and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the view is unbelievable, and the location made it easy to get around the city by bus (two versatile stops just a short walk away). We had a delicious dinner at the rooftop restaurant and enjoyed an aperitif or after-dinner drink at the rooftop bar every night. I would highly recommend this hotel.
