People were very friendly, hotel rooms were quite nice, large (especially by Paris standards) and comfortable (we had 2 queen beds). Everything was clean and well maintained. It felt like a typical US-style hotel room but with a small bathroom. Location was good and close to the sites in central Paris. There wasn't anything charming or unique about the hotel, but its a solid place to safely rest. It would be a good choice for a family wanting the extra space while still being close to sites.

I am more than happy, indeed would wish you to publish my views, to protect any unsuspecting visitors from booking unacceptable facilities at an unwarranted cost. No prior warning was received and no form of discount or compensation was offered. I believe works of that magnitude should require the hotel to be closed or adequate warning given prior to booking at a substantially reduced cost. We have stayed with you as a group of 6 for many years in February and will now give serious consideration as to whether we do so again.
