My overall impression of my stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles was rather disappointing. The renovation works were very noisy and significantly affected the comfort of my stay. The breakfast was poor and below expectations for a hotel of this standard. The room itself felt tired and in need of renovation. Considering the price of the stay, I expected a much higher level of comfort and service.

Overall, the stay was great. I was traveling with my friend who is in a wheelchair and the taxi driver bringing us to the hotel said there was no way he could bring us to the front of the hotel, so he parked on the street and I had to first push the luggage up the ramp and then push my friend up the ramp. I don't know if that was true, though. He appeared to just be lazy and then asked us for cash only payment. We were not prepared for that. The the hotel and staff were wonderful.

The hotel is ideally located for easy travel within the area. The room we stayed in has everything that you need, including a coffee machine that can dispense hot water (for making tea) that doesn't taste of coffee! Comfortable beds. It was a shame about the noise from 'workmen?' that started in the courtyard everyday around 6am! As our window was facing the courtyard. if you had it open even slightly this caused a disturbance so early in the morning.

My wife had a moment medical issue with nausea, your breakfast room manager , Erin customer service director and the front security guard were amazing and most helpful, it was decided to take her to her room and within an hour she was redted and we went on our daily routine, Thank you

I can say nothing negative about this hotel. It is situated in well within walking distance to shopping and many restaurants. The hotel staff is very attentive. The rooms are simple but very clean. The air conditioner works very well. We happen to stay at a time when there was a heat wave in Europe and we were very comfortable. In addition, the breakfast buffet was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I think when booking you should advise the actual renovations (eg drilling at 9am) so we have a choice if we stay there or not.

We had a great stay. Overall we really liked this hotel. We loved the location, wonderful air conditioning and the adjoining rooms for our family traveling with kids. Minor complaint is that although our rooms appeared to be recently renovated which was nice, the doors and cabinets were poorly arranged with doors bumping into other doors and cabinets. We had adjoining rooms but you couldn’t leave the connecting doors open because they blocked the hallway to the bathroom and front door. Bigger complaint was the poor check in experience and front desk. The entire front desk experience was annoying. Despite the great air conditioning in the rooms the front desk was hot and I waited 30 minutes to get the key to our adjoining room.

The hotel was fantastic and very clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The free ice cream was fantastic! The only issue was that one of the light bulbs had a broken casing in the room which we raised to staff daily but was not fixed for the duration of our stay
