I have stayed here for the second year in a row as I have been studying the history of France and Paris at the Sorbonne summer university and its ideally located. The experience has been exceptional, I have been made to feel really welcome, everything I have requested has been immediately actioned and it feels like home from home. This has been extremely important to me as my priority has been improving my french and knowledge of France and I needed a smooth, professional experience. A nice touch is the staff are willing to speak in french which broadens my immersion experience.

I called ahead to notify them we would be arriving early and hoped for an early checkin - on a Friday - noting my Accor platinum status. The day we arrived, we were told 2pm check in only - with no seeming attempt to let us know if a room would be available earlier. The room was available at 2pm, but was stuffy and had weak air conditioning. - even by Paris standards- and was unusually awkward and cramped - again even for Paris standards. After enquiring the next day that we couldn’t get the air working , we were shown two other rooms, but only one had better air conditioning, but was slightly larger and more comfortable, and it wasn’t available until the next day. The staff was accommodating and friendly helping us move rooms.

Regarding the bathroom amenities, we provide essential toiletries in the room, while additional items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are available upon request at the reception. We also apologize if the coffee and tea were not replenished during housekeeping.
