The room hotel breakfast etc was great I was disappointed in the staff, when we spoke they were helpful but when we have stayed in france before the staff have been very friendly and created a nice atmosphere.

Arrived approximately 17.30. Pleasant receptionist, easy check-in. The attached restaurant was a disaster. Don’t go for the cooked breakfast option as it’s a total waste of money. Rooms were clean and functional.

The only hotel I have ever arrived at to find no welcome tray of coffee or biscuits to refresh one after one’s journey. Suggests a meanness of spirit on the part of the management. Room too small to “swing a cat” in. Bed hard but reasonably comfortable. Restaurant offering only a “skeleton service” on Sunday with only two choices per course but fairly tasty for all that. Gives the impression of aiming for the bottom end of the market until you realise that there is a ‘budget’ version next door much cheaper. Heaven forbid!!
