Overall, we were not happy with our stay at this hotel. The front office employee was kind, but that was about it. The rooms were dirty and outdated. The food was a complete joke. We ordered pasta with fish for our 1.5-year-old son and received dry penne with literally no sauce and some very dry deep-fried fish, if you can even call it fish. Our chicken burger had far too much cheddar and sauce, along with a 2 cm thick slice of tomato. After a quick look into the kitchen, I saw that the service staff were preparing all the meals. The staff were very unfriendly and showed no interest in the guests at all. Overall, it was a very bad experience and far too expensive, especially considering that this hotel is not cheap at all. The air conditioning was not working properly, and while the check-out process itself was smooth with a card drop box, not a single smile was given. We will definitely not be returning to this hotel, and I do not recommend it.

The second night I came back to the hotel and the room door wouldn’t open. Already quite tired after a full day of work, I had to go back to the reception. I didn’t say anything, but the staff member immediately started by saying that unfortunately I would have to sleep on the couch in the lobby. I was already exhausted and not in the mood for jokes; I expected a more empathetic attitude instead of being made fun of. Personally, just because of that, I will never stay in this hotel again. It also suggests that the staff either don’t receive adequate training or aren’t careful in applying it.

The intention was never to lack empathy or to downplay your fatigue. We fully understand now that you were not in the mood for humor after a long day, and we sincerely regret this. It was difficult to know in the moment, and the joke was not repeated once it became clear that it was not appropriate for the situation. Please rest assured that our entire team receives thorough training in guest relations, and that attentiveness, kindness, and quality of service are at the core of our priorities. We are truly sorry that this simple misunderstanding led to a disappointing experience and such a low rating, especially since the original intention was only to be friendly. The hotel was conveniently located with parking, but it feels more like a 3 star hotel instead of 4. The room was a bit smelly, and there was not even soap to wash your hands, so we had to use the shower gel for it. It was expensive for what it actually was...

The main advantage of this hotel is its location — about a 12-minute drive from Parc Astérix. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel feels quite worn out and more like a 2-star property, with noticeable smells and general shabbiness. Our room for three people was fine in size but not properly cleaned. The air conditioning didn’t work, and with construction taking place on the left side of the building, it was quite noisy, especially for our child who slept near the window. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so dining options are very limited. Their own restaurant is okay for one meal, but the menu is very small. Breakfast costs €19 per person — definitely overpriced for what’s offered, maybe worth half that. Overall, this place feels overused and overpriced. If you have another option nearby, take it.
